I was able to use the old sleeve from my 20-year-old unit, but I also ordered and returned a sleeve kit just in case. The unit works great and easily switches between A/C and heat in auto mode. The thermostat in the remote provides personalized climate control. Overall, I think it's worth the money, but be aware that it could arrive damaged. It's also quite heavy, so you may need help with installation. It has a standard grounded 110V plug and works well with a 20A breaker. I hope it lasts as long as my previous unit, but with the way things are these days, I'd be happy if it lasts 10 years. The overall quality is good, and I'm satisfied with the controller, despite the broken corners.
