This air conditioning unit was installed through the wall using a 26-inch Impecca Wall Sleeve and an additional filter to catch fine particles. It is typically used 24/7 for three to four months per year with a temperature setting of 67��F and 70%-90% humidity. There have been no issues with the unit for 3.5 years, and it works well in a 12x12 room positioned three feet above the floor. It is also supplemented with a BLACK+DECKER BDT30WTA Dehumidifier, although caution should be taken to not overload the circuit.

I believe the economy setting works better if you leave it off. Good results!

We initially had window A/C units in our through the wall metal sleeve, not realizing there were better options. The window units didn't work very efficiently and used a lot of electricity. However, we found the right unit for our installation, which is the largest one that will fit. It does a great job and uses less electricity. It's important to note that this unit requires a 220 volt plug, unlike the standard American 110/120 volt receptacle.

The unit arrived 4 days later than promised but works well. The sleeve is too large and required a larger wall opening. Make sure to slant the opening to avoid rain drainage into the room. It effectively cooled the room to my satisfaction. Hopefully, there won't be any drainage issues in the future, and I can enjoy a cool summer for years to come.
