This product was a nightmare to install, with confusing instructions and hard-to-identify pieces. However, once installed, the A/C unit works great and effectively cools our 1,100 sf home. We bought this as our second window unit after returning the previous one due to the fan blowing apart. This unit is much better, cools faster, is quieter, and has a nice remote option. However, the outer shell was damaged in shipping, making it difficult to install and line up perfectly. It's also very heavy and definitely requires two people to install.
