I initially purchased this unit and it performed well. However, I do regret not spending the extra money on the model with wifi. Aside from that, I am satisfied with my purchase. Updated review: We used it throughout the summer and even with the increase in electric rates, we were able to lock in a new rate. Previously, I would receive electric bills of $300 a month with this AC unit, but with one less AC unit in use, the highest bill was $165. My house was very comfortable, so this was a good purchase. I just wish I had bought the wifi-compatible unit.

This unit is large and quite heavy, but with assistance, I was able to install it in my window to keep my studio cool. It functions effectively and I am satisfied with its performance. I am not excited about the prospect of removing it from my window in the fall.
