This air conditioner works well in my 950 sq ft apartment with 12' ceilings. Installation was a bit challenging due to its size, but I was able to find a window wide enough to fit it. It requires two people to install and additional support if your window base is narrow. I installed it on the first floor and found a support beam from Home Depot, but I would be hesitant to install it on a second floor due to its weight and size. I like the presets and programming, although it is not WiFi capable. It was a lifesaver during the hot and humid summer days. It plugs into a regular outlet and I didn't have any operational issues during the summer. However, it sometimes gets too cold and it tripped the circuit breaker when everyone was using their A/C on max during the hot days. It's important to be aware of your electrical system when using this unit, especially in older buildings with other tenants.

My husband bought this item for his cold storage room because he is a hunter. During hunting season, if it's warm and he can't get the deer to the butcher in time, he puts this room on the house and uses another unit with the air conditioner to cool the room below 36-40 degrees.
