This compact unit effectively cools a 450 sq ft area and works quickly. It does make some noise, but it's not too bad unless you switch to ECO mode, which can be disruptive. It's a bit funny how ECO mode can make it difficult to hear the TV. However, it's perfect for coming home to a cool house after a hot day. Overall, it's a great unit.

This Impecca model (15,000 BTU) was purchased to assist our old central AC unit, which struggles in the intense summer heat. The unit works well and I would buy another if needed. However, I want to caution potential buyers about a couple of things.

Firstly, if your windows are similar to ours with single-hung metal frame units, installation can be challenging. I ended up making a heavy wood frame to mount in the window opening, which allowed me to safely and securely install the AC unit.

Secondly, I recommend carefully inspecting the unit for shipping damage upon receipt. My unit showed signs of being dropped multiple times, with lines in the cooling fins and a noticeable kink in the steel case. Unfortunately, I missed the return deadline as the unit arrived while I was traveling.
