In the spring of 2021, I bought one of these for my bedroom to use with a 5000kw generator during power outages, like during hurricanes. It worked perfectly, so I bought another one to use every night. We set it at 70 degrees on low cool and love the noise it makes, so we use it all year round. It effectively blocks out the traffic noise from the highway and saves us money on cooling the whole house at night with central air. I highly recommend buying it, you won't regret it.

This unit has great cooling capabilities and is easy to install. It pairs smoothly with the internet and the android app for remote control is decent. However, it is not very quiet. You may need to turn up the volume on your TV when the air conditioner kicks on.

This AC unit was meant for a small 9x14 bedroom, replacing a previous GE unit. However, I had issues with the Impecca unit from the start. The manual was not clear, and setting it as I did with the GE unit only provided cool air when I was right next to it. Even at a temperature of 5 and low cool setting, the air did not reach my bed, which was only 11-12 feet away. I had to set it on high cool at all times to get any air flow, which is unacceptable and makes me worry about its longevity. If it struggles now, I can't imagine how it will perform in hotter temperatures. I have had success with Impecca units in the past, so I'm not sure why this one is different. I would advise others to consider a unit from another manufacturer.
