I purchased 4 of these units for my home in Upstate New York. They performed extremely well when the temperature and humidity soared, exceeding my expectations. I also noticed that they were quite energy efficient, as my electric bill only went up slightly compared to last year.

I initially installed this in my window and it worked great on the first day. The next day, the fan worked but it wasn't cooling. Amazon promptly sent me a replacement, and it's still working great.

My husband is a hot sleeper, so we have the main AC set to a low temperature and two fans in our bedroom, but he still wasn't comfortable. He ended up ordering a window AC just for sleeping. It only gets used at night, but it definitely does the job. Our bedroom is large with high vaulted ceilings, and the room gets cold within minutes of turning it on. I have to bundle up for bed, but at least he's comfortable!
