Smooth sailing

The recommended sleeve for this unit is incorrect, but I was able to make it work. The unit is installed and cooling properly, but I noticed there is no drip or water drainage. I removed a device that seemed to serve no purpose, a plunger mounted to the bottom of the unit casing, and now water drains out from the holes. I couldn't find a way to contact Impecca for more information, but any assistance from them would be helpful.

I purchased two AC units from Impecca and mistakenly ordered the first one with the wrong power supply. However, when I called Impecca, they quickly and hassle-free helped me purchase the correct unit and return the first one. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience!

This AC unit effectively cools my living room without making too much noise, unlike some lower priced brands. It has an energy Star rating of 10.5, resulting in lower monthly power bills. I would currently give it an A rating, although I will update my review in the future. As of August 19, 2022, the unit is still working well but has become a bit louder over time. As of April 19, 2023, the unit is still working well and the noise seems to have decreased since initially purchasing it. I will continue to update my review.

This unit is not as well-made as the American one it replaced, but it is performing well. It is a bit noisy, but I don't need to use the remote.

The through the wall AC/heater I purchased is generally standard and works well. However, I was disappointed to find that the remote was missing from my package, despite receiving a manual for the remote controller. This means I have to manually operate the unit, which isn't too inconvenient for me as it is in my room, but I believe I should receive everything I paid for. Additionally, it's important to ensure that the outlet in your space is compatible with 115 volts - mine was only 120 volts, so I had to purchase an adapter, which was an extra and unnecessary expense due to an oversight. Be cautious when purchasing and make sure to check compatibility before buying.

This unit works perfectly in our vintage opening and exceeded my expectations in terms of cooling our large open room. It is a bit louder than anticipated, but it is worth the price. The remote is very convenient for a wall unit. Despite a hairline crack in the corner, we decided to keep it due to the hot weather.
