This vacuum is excellent for bare floors, but it's not the best option for carpets. It works fine on very flat area rugs. The canister is easy to empty, but it doesn't have an attachment holder. Overall, it's a good vacuum considering the price.

This is my third time purchasing this vacuum. It has strong suction, but, similar to the previous model, the crevice tool is too short for some areas. Additionally, this model does not have a dirt sensor or a built-in handle.

I am able to easily do a thorough cleaning after contractors replaced a ceiling thanks to this compact vav. Its long cord and extension make it perfect for reaching areas about 15' up while on a ladder. It is lightweight and effective.

I found a great deal on this item, which was listed as 'used-acceptable' but turned out to be brand new without the original packaging. It arrived and I couldn't be happier with it. It has a self-propelled motion with the powered motor head and great suction. It didn't come with a bag, but since I already had one from my previous vacuum, it wasn't an issue. powered brush was a big selling point for me, even though my dog doesn't shed. I highly recommend this unit for anyone in the market for a new vacuum.

I purchased this vacuum as a replacement for my old Panasonic, which I had for about 15 years. I chose this brand because it uses the same bags and filters as my previous machine, and I prefer a vacuum with bags to contain the dust when emptying. I specifically chose this model for the hand-held motorized pet hair removal brush. The pros include the effectiveness of the pet hair brush, the variable suction feature, the motorized carpet cleaning head that lays flat to reach under furniture, and its quieter operation compared to my old vacuum. The only cons are that the hose is a bit stiff and the control switches on the handle are easily bumped when maneuvering. Overall, I am pleased with the machine and hope it lasts as long as my old one.

The vacuum includes two handles for convenience and all necessary attachments for cleaning. It rolls nicely on the floor and is bagless and easy to empty. The only downside is that the cord is not long enough, so an extension cord is needed for vacuuming the staircase.

I compared the Impecca canister vac to our cordless stick vacuum and found that the suction of the canister vac is about 2x stronger. I can easily vacuum the whole house and only need to empty the dust collector 2x at most, compared to 4 or 5 times with the cordless stick vac. I haven't had to clean the filter yet with the canister vac, whereas with the cordless vac it was at least 2 or 3 times during a complete house vacuuming. The cord on the canister vac is long enough so I only have to move the plug once during the entire house vacuuming. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The only problem I've had is that the hose connection at the wand kept separating, but I was able to fix it with a little duct tape. It's a bit more clumsy to drag around than the battery vac, but to me it's worth it for the extra suction and less frequent user maintenance. I would recommend it, except for those who may not be fit enough to deal with the extra weight. I also purchased a suction powered Impecca floor tool to go with this canister vac, which I think helps on both hard floors and carpet. I would buy this vac again, but hopefully I won't have to.
