I installed this unit in my garage and it effectively cools the entire space. I am currently converting the garage into an apartment and this unit is a great addition. I have not had the chance to test the heater yet, but I will review it once the weather gets colder. I made sure the unit would fit my 27-inch wide window by contacting the manufacturer, and with a minor modification, it fit perfectly. It was a bit challenging to install due to its size, but I managed to do it on my own.
