    The window setup is for a window that opens up and down, not to the side. However, I found it to be an easy fix by cutting a piece of plexiglass and silicone it in. I also added a light chain from the back on each side to the eaves with a turnbuckle for additional support. The unit works fantastic, and I couldn't believe how much cold air it blocked. I would have given it 5 stars, but I had to figure out my own way around the fact that my windows slide side to side.
