I purchased this little AC for only $160 and it's been a lifesaver during the recent heat wave in SoCal. Other AC units on Amazon can cost upwards of $300, but this one gets the job done. It came with insulator foam and a screen to keep the cold air inside, and it's small and easy to move to another room if needed. The only downside is that it has a small drainage opening at the bottom, so be sure to install it correctly to avoid any water leaking into the house. I didn't realize this at first and had some water drip onto the floor. I might follow another reviewer's suggestion and carefully drill holes at the back of the unit to prevent this issue. Overall, it's a great AC for the price, just be mindful of the drainage.

This item is in my office and works well. You can easily control the level of cooling and fan speed, but it does not automatically adjust based on the room temperature. You have to monitor and adjust it yourself, but it functions perfectly.
