I set it up two days ago and it's been working well so far. I want to let people know that this unit is heavy and the hose is large. I did have some trouble with the hose coming off easily, but I fixed it with duct tape. I wish I had done more research because I didn't want a unit that needed to be drained, but it's here now and I'm getting cooled off, so I'm okay with it. I really like the swing feature. One thing to note is that the dry mode seems cooler than the cool mode.

This item is easy to handle and not too bulky, making it convenient to move around.

The installation process was simple, but I'm giving it a 3-star rating because the product is noisier than the specified 52DB. At low fan speed and cool mode, the noise level is around 59DB, which is higher than expected. Additionally, there is an annoying ticking sound when the compressor runs. If that sound is absent, the noise is bearable, but still not within the specified range.

A little noisy but I have gotten used to it and it works great.

I compared prices at a few big box home improvement stores and a large retail store, and found that the similar model for cooling 250 square feet was on average $70 more at the stores. This air conditioner also functions as a dehumidifier, but you'll need to keep an eye on the drain hose and use a bucket to catch the water. I have to empty the bucket every two hours or so, but it works well in my room with old, cheap windows. It starts cooling immediately and works wonderfully.
