This is my first dehumidifier and I'm still deciding on its effectiveness. I'm curious to see if it will lower my electric bill even though it uses power. The noise doesn't bother me and it moves easily on hardwood floors. I haven't set up external drainage yet, so I have to empty the bucket multiple times a day. It's simple to do but if I were gone all day, I would definitely set up constant drainage. The humidity indicator may not be accurate, but I haven't calibrated it. I have noticed a 20% change in humidity over time. Depending on its energy efficiency, I may buy another unit, especially if there is a discount available.

After having two Chinese competitors fail, I decided to try the Impecca dehumidifier and was impressed with the design and features. However, after 11 months of use, it began to ice up and no longer dehumidify. Impecca quickly replaced the unit and offered to cover the cost of shipping the faulty unit back. I have now gone through 5 dehumidifiers from 2 different companies in less than 2 years, with similar issues of refrigerant not circulating properly through the coils. Companies should be responsible for covering return shipping for defective products, and better quality control is needed to prevent these products from ending up in landfills.

We are big fans of this product - it's quiet, efficient, and does exactly what it's supposed to without any unnecessary complications. It has a simple, clean design and effectively removes humidity from the air. Our reason for writing this review is because we recently experienced a minor leak after moving the unit downstairs due to flooding. After contacting the company for advice, they went through diagnostics with us over the phone and ultimately decided to ship us a replacement 50 pint unit at no cost, even though we were just 10 days out of warranty. We were pleasantly surprised by their level of customer service.

The machine is quiet, the water collection unit is easy to remove and replace, the controls are easy to use, and the set-up is very straightforward.

We opted for the 50 pint model because our basement is very damp and we are concerned about mold. The large bucket capacity is convenient as we only need to empty it three times a day. However, we encountered two challenges. The cord is too short and the design of the bucket makes it difficult to pour out without spilling. Despite these drawbacks, the dehumidifier functions well and the noise level is acceptable.

So far, this Item works well in my basement and is fairly quiet. However, it is more difficult to remove the water reservoir compared to my old one. The reservoir fills up to the top and I have to angle it just right to prevent spilling. Putting it back in place can also be tricky to get it to slide back in properly.

After using this dehumidifier for almost a year since I purchased it in August 2020, I can confidently say that it is an amazing product. It is incredibly quiet and effectively removes a significant amount of moisture from the air. My house has a constant humidity issue due to a failing central AC, but this dehumidifier has been a lifesaver in reducing the humidity levels. The only inconvenience is having to empty it multiple times a day, but it's a small price to pay for the benefits it provides. I highly recommend getting the largest size and choosing your own setting, as it will definitely exceed your expectations.

In my experience, after three years of use, the freezer began to freeze up and did not go into defrost mode as the instructions indicated. This was not the quality I was hoping for.

The previous humidifier we had was not suitable for our shelf due to its weight, even without water. However, we love the visual of being able to see the water and the product works great.
