Short-lived beautiful design

This appliance was quiet and worked well when it was new, and the design is reasonably attractive. However, after 4 years, it started icing up all the time, regardless of the air temperature. We tried making various adjustments and ensuring the filter was clean, but the manufacturer told us it was out of warranty and not worth fixing. It's a shame to have to recycle it, but it's not worth the cost of repairs. I don't like the idea of throwaway appliances.

3 Years In, Leaking at the Bottom

This unit is definitely effective and we use it constantly in the bathroom. It does its job well, but we are having trouble locating a leak. We suspect something is preventing water from reaching the drain and filling the collection tray. We plan to disassemble the unit to investigate further. In the meantime, we have purchased a smaller 22 pt unit.

The Item size is impressive and functions effectively. The noise level is satisfactory, though not as quiet as my previous one. I hope that it has a long lifespan like my old one, which lasted 20 years.

We are extremely satisfied with this de-humidifier. In fact, we recently purchased a second one. Our home's humidity levels were at 80% before getting them, but now they consistently stay around 50%. We are very grateful!

We recently built a new house and the builder recommended using a dehumidifier to help dry out the house after construction. It ran constantly and did a great job, so the builder suggested I only run it at 50% from now on. There was a mishap with the drywallers tripping the sump pump breaker and flooding the basement, but when I plugged the dehumidifier back in after cleaning up, it worked perfectly as if nothing had happened. It's a pretty impressive appliance nowadays!

We have added 2 of these devices to our cottage in the FL Keys, and they are able to fill the collection bucket daily. When we are away, we connect a hose to drain into our showers. One device is located upstairs and the other is in the downstairs guest suite, with each area covering about 450 sq feet. We make use of Govee smart plugs and leak sensors, which provide remote messages for emergency shutdown capability.
