The PowerMate works well on stairs, and the pet tool is 1/4 the width of the PowerMate and takes 4x longer to clean stairs. The pet tool is motorized and works well on vertical stair risers. The canister has a stair grip to hold it in place, but it can easily be knocked off. The vacuum is lightweight and easy to carry, but the cord can be a bit tangled. The hepa bag and filter keep all the dirt in, and the vacuum does not produce any smell. The vacuum is made of plastic and may not last long. The cord could be longer, and the floor tool door opens easily. The accessory tools are excellent, and the bag holds a good amount of dirt. It is recommended to clean the brush roll after each use.

This vacuum is a great value for the price. It comes with a retractable cord, multiple accessories, and a long enough pipe. The suction can be adjusted. It is easy to carry, but not very maneuverable on wheels and the handles are not very comfortable.
