The new unit has allowed me to sleep comfortably. It was scheduled to arrive on Thursday, July 7, 2022, but when I checked my porch there was nothing there and all the delivery stations were closed. I found a note in my mailbox stating that the unit was 'too large' to fit in the delivery boxes and had been returned to the post office. I was surprised that the air conditioner was shipped through USPS, as I believe such large and heavy items should be shipped through UPS or FedEx. I cannot imagine Amazon using USPS for such shipments, but if they do, I recommend reviewing their shipping procedures for large items. If a third party was responsible for the shipping, I suggest ensuring that proper shipping directions are followed. Despite the delivery issues, I am happy with the performance of the AC unit.
