I am still happy with this unit, which is a positive change from my previous experience with in wall units. It cools well and is quieter than any other unit I've owned.

Prevent Frozen Water Lines

I bought this unit less than a year ago in May 2023, and it has been producing only fair amount of cool air since the beginning. Despite running the AC often in my son's room to combat the warmth from the heaters during winter, I have found that it does not work when temperatures are slightly below freezing. Our previous Frigidaire unit, which was already in the apartment when we bought it, worked perfectly in all weather conditions for almost 14 years without any issues. While I appreciate the helpful customer service from Impecca, I am disappointed in the performance of their air conditioner. I will not purchase an Impecca air conditioner again and will advise others against it.

This unit is great for bringing cold air to you. It runs strong and is fairly easy to mount if you have experience. Just keep in mind that it goes in the wall.

This wall-mounted AC unit also functions as a heater and dehumidifier and comes with a remote control for adjusting settings. It has a 12,000 BTU capacity and requires a 220 plug. It is designed for wall installation and may not be adaptable for window use. It is heavy and requires two people for installation. The air conditioner provides very cold air and effective heating when adjusted.

I am really impressed with this air conditioner. It performs even better than I expected and cools a small to medium-sized room quickly and efficiently. I purchased the 12,000 BTU unit, which is labeled as 230V but can be connected to a dedicated 220V outlet, similar to a furnace or electric dryer. This unit is dual purpose, providing both heat and air conditioning, which is a great feature. It is designed to be installed through a wall with proper venting, but can also be installed in a window if there is a nearby 220V outlet and adequate support. It is heavier than a typical window unit, weighing almost 120 pounds, and requires mounting brackets.

This product easily fit into my old sleeve and I appreciate having a remote, as my unit is mounted low on the wall and I used to have to get on my knees to make adjustments. Overall, I am satisfied with it so far.

The installation of the air conditioner was easy, but I was disappointed to find that the air it produced was not cool. I had previously bought the same brand and it had worked well, so this was not what I was expecting.
