This is the best portable air conditioner we've ever had. We own five in total, but this is the only dual hose one. It's quiet and cools our 400 square-foot room in less than an hour. It's much easier to install compared to our old window air conditioner. It's definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I bought this Impecca air conditioner to replace my previous Black and Decker ones, which for some reason are rated higher. The design of the Black and Decker air conditioners pulls in air from outside the room, making them struggle to cool hot, humid air from the rest of the house. In New York, the Black and Decker ones stop working in June once it gets hot and humid. I have a 12,600 BTU Black and Decker air conditioner that should work for a 400+ square foot room, but it can't even cool a 200 square foot bedroom. The Impecca air conditioner is much better because it circulates the air inside the room, and cools the room effectively. One downside is that the hose/window plate interface is annoying to connect, but other than that, it works great.

We purchased this unit for our townhome because we are unable to use our central air and heating system due to my daughter and I having seasonal asthma. Despite having the vents cleaned by Bob the builder, it did not improve the situation. However, this A/C & Heat unit is fantastic. It effectively cools the entire lower level of my townhome, even when the temperature reaches the 90's. We are looking forward to seeing how well the heater works this winter. My husband and I are planning to buy two more units soon. In my opinion, if you enjoy a cool house like what a central A/C can provide, then I highly recommend purchasing this 12,600 BTU with heat unit. You won't be disappointed.

This is my fourth portable AC/heater, and the most expensive, but also the best. It runs smoothly day and night, maintaining my desired temperature with minimal adjustments. The hose-in-hose design is a bit rigid, but it still holds up well. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

After two months, it has proven to be very efficient in saving energy. It was installed in a 400 sq ft master bedroom with tall ceilings and even kept the occupants comfortable in 110 degree temperatures when the main air system broke. As a result, utility bills have gone down. It's truly amazing.
