This AC heater is great in every way. It's extremely energy efficient and has significantly reduced my electric bill to $200 to $300 a month in the summer. Additionally, I use it for heat in the winter and my electric bill is always less than $100 a month.

This unit effectively cooled my 300 square foot high ceiling bedroom during the summer and has a sleek and relatively quiet design. However, I was disappointed to discover that the heating function only works above an outdoor temperature of 41 degrees, which was not adequately communicated in the product information. This limitation made the heating function essentially useless in my frosty morning climate.

This unit is both efficient for heating and cooling. Despite being bothered and distracted by noise, the background noise is actually not noticeable when I listen carefully. Even when using Skype and Teams near the unit, no one has complained about noise, which is a big improvement from my previous unit. The wheels are of good quality and the overall performance is much better than my old two hose unit.

The energy efficiency of the unit is not something I can speak to, but I can say that I really enjoy coming to bed at night and finding my room much cooler than the rest of my house. I used to have a fan on all night, so the noise of the unit doesn't bother me. It's actually quieter than my fan.

I purchased this unit for both heating and cooling purposes. I have been monitoring its energy consumption and have found that it uses half the energy of a regular AC unit. It is extremely quiet and cools the room quickly. The heat function works well during the shoulder seasons, but I have not yet tested it in the winter. The manufacturer's specifications indicate that it can operate down to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. So far, I am very satisfied with this unit as it maintains the set temperature consistently.

portable ac: doesn't suit all windows.

This unit is effective and quiet, especially on the low fan setting. However, it doesn't fit well in sliding windows and the extra adapter provided for this type of window is bulky and made of brittle plastic. It doesn't fit snugly or create an airtight seal. Additionally, the hose is short and stiff, making it difficult to position the unit properly in some windows. Despite these challenges, once the unit is in place it works well as a portable A/C unit.
