The product works as expected and is worth the price. I am happy with it.

I have only positive things to say about this device. I recommend using the hot air vent hose out the window and having a continuous water tube at the bottom, positioned lower than the unit for gravity to expel the water. I had to buy a longer tube from the hardware store. I have mine running off my balcony and it has made a significant difference in the temperature of my small apartment.

I pair it with a fan and even in over 90-degree weather, it keeps the inside temperature at a comfortable 75 degrees. It effectively cools off the room and operates quietly. I have owned this unit for 2 years now. Initially, I found that it didn't cool very effectively when I used it without the drip pan attached. Living in Oklahoma where summers are extremely hot and humid, with temperatures ranging from 80 to 100 degrees, this was a problem. However, once I attached the water drip hose, the unit started expelling very cold air. I have the unit in an oversized room upstairs, situated over a hot, enclosed garage. In the late afternoons, when the garage heats up, the unit struggles to keep the room cool. But for the rest of the day and night, it works effectively. To solve the issue during the late afternoons, I use a small portable fan that also dispenses ice water. This has helped me to stay cool during those few really hot hours from 5pm to 8pm.
