After reading other reviews, I found it challenging to insert the screws into the sleeve. I didn't make the holes larger, but instead used a lot of force and twisting to get the screws in. Some tabs were bent when I opened the package, which must have happened during packaging. The instructions suggested adding 8 more screws on the top and bottom for added stability, but I had trouble getting the bottom 4 screws to line up and had to leave them out. It seems like the bottom screws are important for supporting the weight of the AC when installed, so I may need to take it out and fix this. The directions also didn't specify whether the sleeve should be level or slope to the back. I ended up loosening the screws for the side brackets and using a shim underneath to tilt the sleeve back, as the AC instructions recommended sloping it down. It seems like the instructions may be missing something, as it would probably be better to attach the side brackets to the sleeve one screw-hole further back to achieve the proper tilt.

The item works well, but the instructions could be improved.

The delivery was fast and my husband easily installed it. It appears to be working great.

When I first received this item, it seemed to be of high quality. However, I found it challenging to assemble due to the screw holes not aligning properly. We had to enlarge the holes and straighten some bent areas that were not caused by shipping. I cannot comment on the wall installation process yet.

The through the wall air conditioner worked just as advertised. I highly recommend this option for anyone without a window. It's the perfect solution!
