Figuring it out as I go...

I'm using the dehumidifier in a new structure near the Minnesota/Canadian border. The dehumidifier was able to reduce humidity levels in a large, damp space, despite not coming with an instruction manual. I noted that the dehumidifier was not too loud and I'm waiting to see how it performs over a full season cycle. They also mention challenges with internet access and receiving a printed instruction booklet.

After using the dehumidifier for 24 hours, I noticed water leaking from the machine due to the threaded cap on the continuous operation water drain not being tightened properly. Additionally, the full bucket switch in the upper left corner seems flimsy and I am unsure if it is missing a cover for the spring metal switch activator. I would appreciate if the manufacturer could provide a photo or line drawing of the switch design to help me verify if there is any missing part or cover. Thank you. I have been using this product for about 2 weeks and so far it's been working well. It is a bit noisy, but that seems to be common for dehumidifiers of this type. It shuts off when full and we're planning to use the hose option to avoid having to empty it. This unit is in a finished basement, replacing a smaller one that stopped working after two years. I hope this one lasts longer. I gave it four stars because of the loud fan. Setting it up was easy, but it's a little heavy so I recommend having two people to remove it from the box.

This dehumidifier has been working well so far. I had a previous one that only lasted a year, but this one has been running smoothly all last summer. The controls are simple and easy to use, but there are a couple of reasons why I gave it 4 stars. Firstly, the dead-band is narrow, causing it to turn on and off within a minute, even though it's not in a breezy area. Secondly, the reservoir is a bit tricky to put back in - you have to gently hit both sides at the same time, it doesn't just slide in easily. I'm hopeful it will continue to do well next summer.

After letting this Item sit for 24 hours as instructed, I turned it on next to my bathroom and was surprised by its effectiveness. Within just 1 hour, it reduced the humidity in the room by 10%. It works very quickly and consistently fills up the tank within 24 hours. The tank does seem a bit small given its power, but setting up a drain hose would solve that issue. It is a bit loud in turbo mode, but manageable. In a consistently humid environment, it may reach a point where it can't reduce humidity any further, but it still significantly improves the overall humidity levels.

This Item of companies does not provide a comprehensive understanding of how to use and operate this equipment. I initially connected a hose line to divert the water, but later discovered it was not working because the reservoir was full, which is not what I wanted. I have placed the dehumidifier on a platform with a hose connected to drain below the device into a pump. Why do I still need to empty the reservoir? I am still adjusting the setup to test if it will automatically drain. The machine is relatively quiet, but I can hear it running from my kitchen. I appreciate the warmth it adds to my basement.

This dehumidifier is a beast at pulling in moisture, but emptying the bucket is a hassle. It's easy to set up and move around, and you can customize the settings. However, the bucket is hard to remove and clean, and the machine is very loud. If you can deal with the drawbacks, it's worth it for the effectiveness. Otherwise, consider a different model.

After using the Impecca 70-pint dehumidifier for 8 months, I initially rated it 4 stars, but recently encountered some issues with it icing up and leaking water. I reached out to the seller and they sent me a new unit, which has been working well for the past five months. It seems to have an updated or redesigned auto defrosting system, as I haven't had the same problem as with the first unit. Overall, I am now pleased with its performance and reliability, and would recommend it.

I needed to reduce the dampness and odor in my raised ranch house, especially in the finished, carpeted basement. I was surprised to see the dehumidifier's tank full of water after just one afternoon of running. The noticeable noise wouldn't be suitable for a bedroom at night, but it didn't bother me during the day. The clean design is easy to wipe off, although the unit is a bit large and heavy. It has casters, but isn't recommended to be dragged across carpet. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

Issue with connected hose

This dehumidifier does not work as advertised. I connected a hose to the back, but it did not pump out water. Even when I elevated it on a chair, I still had to manually empty the bucket. It's frustrating that it has a hose connector but doesn't pull out water. Disappointing.
