This item works great. It was a little too big for my window, but I think that's the window's problem. I just added some extra all-weather foam to fill the gap. I've been running it constantly for weeks and it cools the room down fast. It's also very user-friendly.

This item was challenging to put together and is very loud but it works okay. However, the remote doesn't work, which is very disappointing.

Our bedroom window is an older style and we were able to make this item work, even though we recently replaced the windows. We were able to make it fit in the 9ft by 10ft space by using a small bit of insulation foam tucked in the bottom, which also helped with condensation concerns. It works perfectly to keep the room at 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

This remote is convenient and the room cools down nicely. However, it does not remember the last settings, which can be a minor annoyance. I haven't found a way to save them, so maybe it's not possible. I only use it at night, so it is shut down more often than most AC units would be, I suppose.
