This picture was only included because it is definitely fragile. However, Amazon was fantastic with my return process. They arranged for UPS to pick it up the next day and had a new one delivered to my door the following day. This is the second time I've purchased this product. The first one lasted me over 10 years, and I love the automatic drain valve. I wasn't surprised or upset when it stopped working after 10 years. The new one seems a little louder than my last one, but it could just be me.

This dehumidifier is very efficient at removing moisture from my old, damp Florida house. The bucket fills every 8 to 10 hours, and the size is perfect for me to handle. It's easy to move around because it's lightweight and has wheels. I have a 1600 square foot house and need to move it to different rooms. It's a bit louder than I'd prefer, but overall, I'm glad I purchased it.

If you are tall like me, lifting 30 pounds from a low machine to dump 50 pints without hurting your knees or back is a miracle. It's not very quiet, but it works well. It's hard to see the thin red line showing how full it is, especially for tall people. My wife struggled to lift a full drawer out of it, and it took her three days to recover. I recommend having someone younger and in better shape to empty the machine every 8 to 10 hours if you are over 5'10 and older than 55.

I used to love my Impecca dehumidifier, but now I'm having some issues with it. It's been leaking on the floor and I've discovered that the drain pump isn't working properly. I'm frustrated because I can't find a replacement part for it, and it seems like Impecca doesn't offer any support for this issue. It's disappointing to think that I might have to throw away the whole unit just because of a small problem that could be easily fixed if the parts were replaceable. I wouldn't recommend buying from Impecca until they address this issue with non-replaceable parts. It's a shame to waste a good product because of a simple repair problem.

I have been using this product for 3-1/2 months and it has surpassed my expectations. Compared to two other units I have owned in the past, this one is much more efficient and does not generate as much heat during operation. It also quickly reduces humidity. While I read a complaint about difficulty in emptying the water, I have found a technique that works for me and I still prefer this unit over the others I have owned.

We use this dehumidifier in our 4 season room with an 18x28 swim/spa and 10ft ceiling to maintain a safe humidity level during the winter. When the temperature drops below 20 degrees outside, we need to keep the humidity around 30% to prevent damage to the structure. Although this dehumidifier only goes down to 35%, it effectively brings the humidity down to 31% within about an hour after we use the spa and cover it with a floating bubble cover. The condensed water is pumped back into the swim/spa to prevent water loss.

This dehumidifier, while initially reliable, eventually failed and I had to make a warranty claim. Despite regular maintenance, it still broke down. I recommend purchasing a service agreement with any dehumidifier, as they are prone to breaking down.

This dehumidifier is perfect for my 450 sq foot basement. It automatically pumps out and is plumbed to pump into a sump pump about 4 ft off the ground. It easily brings the humidity down from 65% to 40% on low fan. It retains pump-out settings even if the power is disconnected. It pumps out slowly, taking about 30 minutes to empty the tank, so it can be used in series with a low capacity sump pump. The fan runs a lot, even when the target humidity is reached, but I assume it's to cool the unit off. Overall, I'm happy with its performance and consider it a good value.
