The product is good, but the power cord is only 6 feet long. The manual advises against using an extension cord. I have tried calling customer service at different times on various days, but have been unable to reach anyone. I also sent an email asking about using a specific gauge and maximum length of cord, but I have not received a reply yet.

After reading positive reviews of this unit from sources outside of Amazon, I decided to purchase it for my damp home. However, I am not sure if I should be concerned or impressed, as the unit fills up with moisture every day. I have the 3000 SF unit for a 1500 SF home, and I am considering getting another one for upstairs. It's important to note that these units are heavy and use a lot of electricity - my bill increased by $35 from running it non-stop. Be aware of potential higher electric bills if you decide to purchase this unit.

I used the next size down of this dehumidifier for 3 years and annually maintained it with coil cleaner. Unfortunately, I accidentally broke the float while drunk. I temporarily fixed it with tape and placed it in the garage with a hose in a 5-gallon bucket, which worked well for watering plants. I then bought a heavy-duty unit and expect it to perform just as well as the previous one. This dehumidifier is exceptional, quiet, and easy to clean. I highly recommend it for dehumidification needs in a 2800 sq ft home.

This compact unit works well in my basement and I empty it once a day during the summer. The front drawer is convenient to access, but I find it difficult to put back in. I've found that pushing it in near the bottom corners helps, but it still doesn't always close easily. Despite this, the noise level is low and it gets the job done effectively.

I purchased the dehumidifier after my mother and sister did and it has been a great investment. It works very well and has helped with the moisture issues that have been getting worse over the years. It is not too loud, but you can definitely hear it. It works better on hardwood floors than carpet. Overall, it has been a lifesaver for reducing moisture in our home.

The unit arrived undamaged from UPS in a securely packed box. Setting it up and operating it is straightforward. I have it in the basement of my new house and the large reservoir filled quickly, and the auto shut off feature functioned as promised. After purchasing and installing a drain hose, it has been running continuously and the basement's humidity has decreased by about 5%. Overall, it's a good unit. We'll see how durable it is over time.

I purchased this Item to regulate the climate for my plants, aiming for below 60% humidity. However, I have found that I need to set it to 40% in order to achieve a humidity level below 55%. It appears that the hydrometer may not be as accurate as my AC Infinity inline fan, but overall it does the job. I just wish it provided a more precise reading.

The purchase of this dehumidifier has been excellent. The humidity inside the house stays at a comfortable 45-47% while outside it reaches around 90%. It works very well, although it does make some noise. I do wish it had a pump because I have to empty it twice daily, but it is still worth it. I would definitely buy it again, and I might consider upgrading to the model with a pump next time.

After using this dehumidifier for about a week, I was surprised by how much water it could extract from the air in a short amount of time. Our 3068 square foot home was consistently at a high 50s to low 60% humidity, but since using this unit on comfort mode, the humidity has stayed closer to 50%. The only drawback is the noise, which is similar to a running AC unit in a hotel room. However, you can set it to only turn on when needed or run continuously. Overall, I recommend this product and have not had any issues with leaks as long as the drain plug is securely in place.

After reading numerous reviews, I chose the Impecca 35 Pint 3,000 Sq. Ft. Dehumidifier. The low setting works well and the adjustable settings are a great feature. However, I experienced issues with it turning off and on frequently, which I was told was due to its size being too large for the area. Returning the item through Amazon was costly, so I recommend being certain about your purchase before buying. While I would not order a large item online again, I do believe the dehumidifier is effective in lowering humidity levels quickly, although it is a bit loud on the turbo mode. I hope this information is helpful for others.

The Impecca 35 Pint 3,000 Sq. Ft. Dehumidifier was simple to set up with the drain hose and basement drain. It has helped improve the condensation issues in my non-walkout basement (24'x36'), although it hasn't fully cleared up, possibly due to the basement door being left open for cats. I initially used the continuous cycle but switched to comfort after a couple of weeks, which means I no longer have to remember to turn it on/off. The dehumidifier is easy to move on rollers, but the 5' drain hose is limiting. It is a bit loud, but I can barely hear it from the main floor. I have been using the unit for five weeks at the time of this review.

I deducted one star because the unit is quite loud, even at the lowest setting. It sounds like the return air kicking in on a furnace, which would be unbearable in a bedroom but is still a daily reminder in the living room. You do get used to it, but you instantly appreciate the quiet when it turns off. I can't compare it to other dehumidifiers, but it works great and was easy to set up. The instructions were clear, and overall I'm happy with its performance.

I recently moved into a damp, dark, and wooded area and had to deal with mildew. Although this dehumidifier is not very large, it worked well when I placed it in my clothes closet and ran it with the bedroom windows and doors closed. It quickly lowered the humidity from over 85% to around 50%, and the bucket would fill in about five hours on continuous mode. Eventually, I decided to move to a drier location as the battle with mildew became too much.
