I bought this unit for my 548 sq. foot garage and found the setup to be very easy. Just plug it in and it works great. It's quiet and after using it for an hour, I noticed a noticeable difference in the air quality. It feels cooler and fresher. I also use it with a hygrometer to monitor humidity and temperature changes, and I'm very happy with the quality and efficiency of this unit.

I have always had a problem with high humidity in my front bedroom, as well as throughout my entire house. I installed a whole house dehumidifier, but still experienced issues, including mold spots appearing on my expensive wool carpet. I tried various methods to bring down the humidity, including Damp Rid and boat dehumidifiers, but had no luck until I purchased the Impecca 22 pt unit. Despite its capacity being more than I needed for my 169 sq.ft. room, it quickly and effectively brought the humidity down to around 40%. I have experimented with the settings and found that even at its lowest setting, the unit is not able to bring the humidity down to the mid 30s, but I am satisfied with the control it provides. I now feel confident in adding an antimicrobial chair mat to the room without fear of more mold problems. It's worth noting that the unit requires at least 8 inches of clearance around it, so be mindful of where you place it. While I haven't had it for long, I've read that room dehumidifiers in this price range typically only last a year or two, so I'll be prepared to replace it when the time comes.

I am very impressed with this dehumidifier. It is my first one, so I can't compare it to others, but it does a great job of removing moisture from my trailer. I live in Oregon and was told that a dehumidifier is essential for living in a travel trailer. There were so many options on Amazon, but the cheaper ones were too small. I would highly recommend using a draining hose with plumbing tape to ensure uninterrupted operation. The bin fills up in about 3-4 hours on humid days, but my dehumidifier has been going strong for 4 summers now. The noise is similar to a white noise machine, but I can still sleep through it. The screen needs occasional cleaning, but there is a blinking light to alert you when it needs to be cleaned. Overall, I would purchase another one if needed.

I live in Miami where the humidity inside my home can reach 65% or higher, causing musty odors in various rooms. I decided to try a dehumidifier to help with the issue and chose this one based on its size. It does a great job of removing humidity, filling the reservoir in 4-5 hours when set to 50% humidity. I can't use the continuous drain hose, so when the reservoir is full, the unit stops and reminds me to empty it. When set to 60% humidity, it doesn't fill as quickly, but the motor still runs continuously. I'm not sure if it's supposed to completely shut off and then back on when the humidity is below and then above the setting. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the unit runs daily in my home.

I purchased this dehumidifier in August 2020 and it worked well for the past two years with no complaints. The turbo setting can be loud, but it can be adjusted. The filter is easy to clean and the reservoir worked flawlessly, although it can be heavy to empty when full. I never had a problem with it and didn't use the continuous drain feature. However, after the two-year warranty expired, the reservoir started to malfunction and leaked all over my basement. I contacted the company expecting no help, but to my surprise, the customer service representative was incredibly helpful and agreed to send me a new unit, even though I was just one month past warranty. I recently purchased an Impecca 22-pint dehumidifier. I live in Maryland and the weather has been hot and humid, causing my A/C to stop working. After setting up the dehumidifier in my kitchen and running it on the Comfort setting, I was amazed at how quickly it improved the indoor air quality. The tank filled up with water in just 4 hours, and I was able to empty it easily. I also discovered that the tank can hold up to 0.90625 gallons at a time, and over the course of 24 hours, the dehumidifier collected almost 4 gallons of water from the air in my house. The unit does produce some heat, but I prefer it to the humidity. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the performance of this dehumidifier and am considering getting a second one for my basement. It has been a lifesaver while my A/C is out of commission.

This review is completely voluntary. We purchased the Impecca 22 pint unit for the fully finished basement section of our house, which is about 1,000 sq. ft. It works very well at reducing humidity in the basement and surprisingly, it's also reducing humidity in the main living area above, which is about 1,200 sq. ft. The unit is centrally located on the basement level and positioned near the bottom of the wide stairwell, allowing it to pick up air flowing in both directions. After researching many units, I found that the Impecca 22 pint unit is both effective and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

I followed the instructions to let it sit upright for 24 hours after receiving it. The digital display is a nice feature, but the power button is a bit difficult to see. I deducted one star for three flaws: the noise level is a bit loud, the humidity sensor seems to turn on and off too frequently, and the power button is not very visible. I previously owned a Westinghouse Dehumidifier which lasted for 15 years in a hot and humid climate. It was efficient and easy to clean. However, the Impecca 22 Pint 1,500 Sq. Ft. Dehumidifier I purchased creates mold and mildew inside its bucket, requiring frequent cleaning with bleach. The water pours out from multiple places, making it difficult to pour into the sink. Despite these issues, it effectively reduces humidity and operates quietly. I plan to address the pouring problem by placing a puppy pad on the floor when emptying the bucket.

This Item performs well and does what it's supposed to do. The only issue is that I have to empty the container every day, and it's smaller than I anticipated. This unit was recommended to me by a co-worker who has had one for about 5 years. I live in coastal Texas with high temperatures and humidity. The unit has been able to bring the humidity in my house down to 50%, which is a noticeable difference considering the high humidity levels outside and inside. I have placed the unit below the return air for my HVAC system and it has been easy to maintain. It does not significantly impact my power bill and may even be making my AC more efficient. I am from the deep South where high humidity is a constant issue. We decided to invest in some dehumidifiers to help our air conditioner run more efficiently. We purchased the 1500 square foot model for our bedroom and the 4500 square foot model for our open plan house on the first floor. When we initially received them, we went through a prolonged period of low humidity, so all we did was plug them in and use them for about 30 minutes to ensure they were working.

Once the humidity finally rose enough to put them to the test, we were very impressed with the performance of the 4500 square foot model. Our house is 3200 square feet, and I was surprised by how much water it was able to extract from the air. It seems that the square footage capacity of these dehumidifiers is not accurately measured, as we definitely needed the 4500 model for our first floor, despite it being larger than our actual square footage.

Unfortunately, the 1500 square foot model did not perform as well. Even with the door shut, it was unable to reduce the humidity in our master bedroom and ended up heating the room significantly. I contacted the seller, although we were outside of the return window, and after several emails, they sent us a replacement 1500 square foot dehumidifier. I was initially skeptical, thinking that the 1500 model simply didn't have enough power to dehumidify our bedroom, but I was proven wrong. The new machine worked perfectly, just like the downstairs model. The seller instructed us to dispose of the faulty one, which we promptly did, as it only served to heat up the room, which was not helpful.

Overall, we are very satisfied with these dehumidifiers. They are easy to use and have provided excellent customer service.

I use it to prevent moisture build up on the windows at night by setting it to turn on for about an hour while I'm asleep. I check the hourly forecast to target when the temperature is dropping, as that is when the air can hold less water. This allows me to sleep through the noise. To program the machine to turn on in 3 hours and stay on for 1 hour, I set the ON time to 3 hours and the OFF time to 4 hours. It took me a while to figure this out, but it has been very helpful and it also saves energy. Unfortunately, the programming cannot be preserved for multiple days.

The 22 pint dehumidifier works well and is not too noisy. It removed 1.5 gallons of water from my apartment air in about 36 hours of continuous operation. My apartment is just under 1000 sq feet, and the unit is rated for 1500 sq feet. Prior to running the dehumidifier, the interior humidity level inside my apartment with the air conditioner set to 75 degrees Fahrenheit was ranging between 50-62 percent on average. After running non-stop for 2 days, it got the humidity down to 45-50% on average. I am planning to buy the larger 50 pint model in the hope of its additional capacity keeping up with the heavy humidity levels found here in South Florida. This product is one of the best things I've ever purchased. I have a split level home with 600 square feet on the lower level and around 2200 on the main level. I bought two of these dehumidifiers and they have been running continuously since I unpacked them. I live within 140 miles of the Mississippi and Louisiana Gulf Coast, where the humidity is terrible. I hadn't realized how much the humidity was affecting our home until we started using the dehumidifiers. We used to lower the air conditioning just to feel comfortable, but now we actually have to lower it because the house is cooler. I recommend using a short water hose so that the dehumidifier can drain into a shower or tub, unless you want to empty it twice a day like I do. Setting it up is easy, just make sure to read all the instructions and let it sit for 24 hours before using it to allow the oil to drain back into the sump.

I had been struggling with extreme humidity issues in my one-bedroom apartment, with initial levels ranging from 85 to 87%. This led to mold growing on my furniture and wood surfaces, which was very unpleasant. After doing extensive research, I purchased the Impecca 1500 sq ft dehumidifier and it arrived promptly. I noticed the humidity sensor was always reading 90, indicating it was broken. However, since I didn't have plumbing set up for drainage, I decided not to bother with a return. I initially left a 2-star rating due to receiving a defective unit that wouldn't function properly. Customer service wasn't able to help, but they are sending a replacement which will take 2-7 days to arrive. Meanwhile, I'm dealing with mold and mildew in my flooded basement. On the positive side, the original order arrived early. If you ever anticipate needing a dehumidifier, don't wait for an emergency. It's important to follow the 24-hour wait period and hope you don't receive a defective unit like I did. Update: I now give 5 stars. The replacement arrived quickly and has worked great in removing moisture from the air. My only complaint is the excessive beeping when emptying the bucket. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

I recently finished my basement and found that the humidity levels were high at 62+. After using this dehumidifier, I was able to bring the levels under 50 in less than 24 hours. It is easy to empty and maneuver, and has a sleek appearance. However, it does fill up quickly, in less than 15 hours. I have a 1200 square foot basement, and I would recommend getting a larger unit or draining it into a drain for spaces of this size or larger. It is also quite noisy, so I typically turn it off when I am watching TV at night. Overall, I am satisfied with its performance.

The humidifier has an auto feature set at 55% and is located about 20' away from the thermostat. The thermostat typically reads 3-4% higher at 58-59%. The humidifier can pull down the humidity level from over 70% to under 60% in a few hours, and even recover quickly if left on while gone to work. When gone for long periods of time, it can be set on the counter in the kitchen to drain into the sink. The only downside is the noise level, especially in a house with wood floors and tile. If there is carpet, it may help with noise absorption.

The tank only holds 0.8 gallons of water, requiring daily emptying in my basement. I purchased a universal size rubber attachment for a hose to continuously drip into my sump pump, as Impecca does not sell a drip hose attachment. It was a hassle finding the right attachment, and Impecca should consider selling a drain hose attachment or offering models with and without the attachment, with adjusted pricing. Additionally, they should consider including a model with at least a 2 gallon tank in future refreshes.

The moisture issue in our condo is being addressed, and with the hot and humid summer weather in Chicago, we needed something to help dry out the 1800 square foot space. Although some have mentioned that it is louder, we didn't find it bothersome - we placed it in the hallway and it was just a background white noise two doors down in the bedroom. The instructions are easy to follow and it's ready to use right out of the box. Initially, it was filling up several times a day, but now it only needs to be changed out every 12 hours. This product suited our needs and we plan to continue using it on the automatic setting even after our moisture issue is resolved.

After researching numerous dehumidifiers on Amazon, I found this one to be the best value for my needs. After using it for four days, I'm very impressed. I have a 1,900 sq ft unfinished basement with a starting humidity level of 63%, which it quickly brought down to 46-50%. I purchased a drain hose separately, as none was included, and had no issues once I wrapped the spigot with teflon tape. I placed the unit near my floor drain and it has been working perfectly with continuous 24/7 run on the lowest setting of 50%. Overall, I'm very happy and eager to see how long it lasts.

I bought this dehumidifier to reduce the humidity in our basement storage room, which was causing mold and mildew. It quickly brought the humidity level down from 70% to 50% and the room feels and smells better. I connected it to our furnace water pump with a hose, but it's important to have an electrical plug nearby as it cannot be used with an extension cord. I had to have an electrician add another plug to be safe. Overall, I recommend this product based on the first three weeks of use, but be sure to buy a drain hose as it doesn't come with one.

This dehumidifier was purchased for a 600 sq. ft. partially finished basement in a high humidity environment in Central Arkansas. It works, but not as effectively as desired. It fills up about twice a day when the temperature is 70 degrees or higher, and less frequently when the temperature drops below 60 degrees. It is suitable for smaller areas but not as effective for larger spaces. The design is sleek, with 4 wheels for easy maneuverability. It is somewhat noisy but not excessively so. The reservoir is small, but there is a hose hookup option available to avoid frequent emptying.

The dehumidifier I purchased for my basement based on the square footage claim does not effectively keep a 600 sq. foot area dry. It is too small and undersized. I may need to purchase another one of the same size or upgrade to a larger one. It is quiet and easy to move around, but that is the extent of my satisfaction. With the hose attached, it never shuts off, and without the hose, we have to empty it three times a day. Overall, it's a good product, but the size claims should be approached with caution.

This dehumidifier is very effective at pulling moisture out of the air quickly, which is why I purchased it. However, the water tank is surprisingly small and needs to be emptied every day in August in the North Woods of Minnesota or it will automatically shut off. Our old dehumidifier had a larger tank. I should hook up a hose to drain the tank directly into the floor drain to avoid having to empty it every day. It is quiet, but that may be because it is located in the basement and not in our bedroom.

I purchased a dehumidifier for my apartment. It works well and what I particularly like is that it doesn't emit too much heat. I have added a picture for handy people with an idea of how to use the dehumidifier when you don't have a drainage available. The holes in the table are for the dehumidifier's wheels to prevent it from rolling off. Due to its noise, I keep it in the corridor a few feet from my bedroom with the dry air blowing through the open door. I make sure to empty the 5-gallon bottle every day because with high humidity, it produces about 3-4 gallons of water daily. Additionally, I use this water for watering houseplants to reduce the acidity of the soil.

After using this product for 2 months, I can confidently say that it has completely transformed our basement. After running my Brent dehumidifier for 3 full days, I have been impressed with the amount of water it has extracted. I make sure to empty the tank before bed, and each morning it is at least half full. During the day, it removes less water but still fills about 1/4 to 1/2 of the tank. The unit is performing wonderfully, and I will update my review if anything changes.

It's important to note that the product is made in China, but this doesn't bother me as long as it does its job, which it has so far. I bought the 30 pint (actually 22 pints) unit and it works as described, even on the lowest setting. The instructions are helpful, but could provide a better description of the functions.

A word of caution: allow the unit to sit for at least 24 hours upright before using it to allow the fluids to return to the vital parts. Also, make sure to remove any tape from the unit before use.

The warranty is only 12 months, and it's important to follow the directions in the manual before seeking help. If you encounter immediate issues, it's easier to use the Amazon return methods.

In terms of noise level, I find it bearable in a room setting and it doesn't emit noticeable heat. It's too early for me to speak about energy savings, but I will update my review at a later date. Overall, I'm happy with the unit and have even purchased a second one for my parents.

I followed the instructions and let the unit stand straight up for 24 hours before buying a 6' female to female washing machine hose at Walmart. I wrapped the male water drain output on the unit in plumbers tape and turned it on. The hose has 1 connectors, similar to a garden hose, and the unit is currently running in comfort mode with the Turbo speed selected. It has been running for almost two hours and my basement humidity has dropped from 86% to 65% after 18 hours. The drop in percentage slowed down after reaching 76%. My basement used to be very wet, but now it feels dry despite the 64-65 degree temperature. The unit is quiet, with the noise level similar to a box fan set on low for slow speed and medium for Turbo speed. The rate at which the hose is draining in the basement sink is fast, but not enough to create a small stream of water. Overall, even if it doesn't get below 65%, I would still rate this unit 5 stars.

I purchased the dehumidifier to reduce the humidity in my home and address condensation on my AC registers. The humidity levels in my house dropped from the 70s to 49-51 within a week, effectively eliminating interior condensation. The water tank can hold about a gallon and the machine automatically turns off when it's full. I have to empty the tank 2-3 times in a 24-hour period. The dehumidifier is noisy, similar to a high-powered fan, and it would be convenient to have a control to adjust the speed. Additionally, I wish it could be programmed to run at specific times. I used the dehumidifier in an indoor horticulture room to reduce humidity levels. The Peltier type dehumidifier was not effective in a space of 12x19 room. After returning it, the Impecca 30 Pint model was ordered and it worked much better. It has an active compressor and cooling radiator, and it removes about a gallon of water from the air every day, keeping the room humidity at about 43%. The unit is not silent and makes some noise, similar to a small portable air conditioner or a moderate fan. It is easy to move around on its casters and has a simple drawer tank that can be easily emptied. The hose fitting attachment allows for continual draining if needed. I have had no issues with the default continuous setting and high fan speed, and I use a hose to drain the water. I purchased this machine after my dog had issues with fluid in her lungs. Despite medication from the vet, the problem persisted and there was a real fear she might not survive. After speaking with the vet, I decided to try reducing the humidity in our house to make the medication more effective. I bought a smaller machine initially, but eventually got this one as well. Together, they have lowered the humidity from 70% to 40% and have completely resolved my dog's health issues. I've even been able to reduce her medication. I wish I had done this sooner, as we lost a cat to the same problem earlier in the year. Apart from the story, the machine works really well. This dehumidifier quickly and efficiently removes moisture, but it is too loud and also acts as a heater. In colder climates or in a basement, this may be a good thing, but in Southern California, it raises the ambient temperature by about 3-5 degrees after just half an hour of use. I wish I could dehumidify the air without increasing the temperature.

This unit was advertised as quiet but it is extremely loud! I had hoped to use it in my bedroom, but the noise level is just too much. It seems to be performing well otherwise. We recently purchased a dehumidifier due to the intense humidity in our bay front condo on the lower Gulf Coast. After trying other methods to control the humidity without success, we decided to give the dehumidifier a try. We let it sit for 24 hours before turning it on and setting it to 50% for our living room temperature. It was a bit noisier than we expected, but not so much that we wouldn't use it. The next morning, we found the machine had turned off and the bucket was full, but easy to empty. We turned it back on and by 2:00 p.m., the bucket was full again. We are impressed with the amount of water it collects and plan to use it for watering our deck plants. This new unit was purchased to replace our old one because the old unit was noisy and rattled. The main selling point for this unit was its advertised quietness. It is not completely silent, but the noise level is acceptable on the low fan setting. The water collection capacity is somewhat low, but it does have a window to monitor water levels and it is easy to remove and dump the collection container. However, like many other units, it is difficult to reinsert the container perfectly. Despite this, the unit has convenient handles, is lightweight, and relatively quiet.

I already have 50 pint dehumidifiers in other areas of my home, but I wanted a smaller one for my bedroom. The 30 pint Impecca dehumidifier has been great so far. It is quiet, the controls are easy to use, and the comfort mode and timer work well. The caster wheels make it easy to move, and the holding tank is large enough for my needs.
