I live in Miami where the humidity inside my home can reach 65% or higher, causing musty odors in various rooms. I decided to try a dehumidifier to help with the issue and chose this one based on its size. It does a great job of removing humidity, filling the reservoir in 4-5 hours when set to 50% humidity. I can't use the continuous drain hose, so when the reservoir is full, the unit stops and reminds me to empty it. When set to 60% humidity, it doesn't fill as quickly, but the motor still runs continuously. I'm not sure if it's supposed to completely shut off and then back on when the humidity is below and then above the setting. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the unit runs daily in my home.

The product is exciting to receive, as it looks good and has wheels for easy use. One drawback is that the water tank can be difficult to keep clean, as mold tends to grow in it. It only lasted for a year and one month before it stopped working, just after the warranty expired.
