We keep this dehumidifier in the utility room and it's not noisy enough to be heard with the door closed. However, I wouldn't suggest using it in living rooms or bedrooms because it still makes some noise. I'm not sure if there are any truly quiet dehumidifiers out there.

We've had issues with humidity in our Orlando, FL home, but using Damp Rid has helped. Now that we have this machine, we're using less Damp Rid and it's pulling a lot of water out in just a few hours. It's a bit noisy, but not overly so, and we often get close to 3 gallons of water to dump out. Overall, we're very happy with how well it works.

We purchased this for our RV during our trip to the Pacific NorthWest and it worked incredibly well! It effectively removed a large amount of water from the air. However, it was too large for our smaller RV space. It would be perfect for use in a larger home.

This product has been a great addition to my garage for protecting my classic car from humidity. It initially required frequent emptying of the tank, but now it effectively maintains the humidity level in the garage without the need for constant maintenance. Additionally, I purchased a magnetic humidity meter from the hardware store, and it is relatively accurate compared to the unit's settings.

We were able to quickly reduce the indoor humidity to a comfortable level, which has greatly helped us eliminate condensation and prevent mold and wood rot in the winter. This year, we haven't had any issues and the air feels much more comfortable. Our AC doesn't have to work as hard anymore!
