This unit works well in smaller spaces under 1000 sqft. The internal humidity gauge is occasionally inaccurate and the overall noise level is noticeable. I run it for about 8 hours a day and noticed only a slight increase in my monthly electric bill, less than $10.

I bought this unit for my 548 sq. foot garage and found the setup to be very easy. Just plug it in and it works great. It's quiet and after using it for an hour, I noticed a noticeable difference in the air quality. It feels cooler and fresher. I also use it with a hygrometer to monitor humidity and temperature changes, and I'm very happy with the quality and efficiency of this unit.

The dehumidifier seemed to do the job, but I just discovered that it was sent out without an air filter.

I purchased the Impecca to address the moisture problems in my home, as I live in a humid area and was worried about the potential health risks of microorganisms. I have always had a problem with high humidity in my front bedroom, as well as throughout my entire house. I installed a whole house dehumidifier, but still experienced issues, including mold spots appearing on my expensive wool carpet. I tried various methods to bring down the humidity, including Damp Rid and boat dehumidifiers, but had no luck until I purchased the Impecca 22 pt unit. Despite its capacity being more than I needed for my 169 sq.ft. room, it quickly and effectively brought the humidity down to around 40%. I have experimented with the settings and found that even at its lowest setting, the unit is not able to bring the humidity down to the mid 30s, but I am satisfied with the control it provides. I now feel confident in adding an antimicrobial chair mat to the room without fear of more mold problems. It's worth noting that the unit requires at least 8 inches of clearance around it, so be mindful of where you place it. While I haven't had it for long, I've read that room dehumidifiers in this price range typically only last a year or two, so I'll be prepared to replace it when the time comes.

I am very impressed with this dehumidifier. It is my first one, so I can't compare it to others, but it does a great job of removing moisture from my trailer. I live in Oregon and was told that a dehumidifier is essential for living in a travel trailer. There were so many options on Amazon, but the cheaper ones were too small. The more expensive commercial ones were out of my price range. I'm really happy with the one I chose. It quickly removes moisture from the windows and fills up the tank fast. I learned the hard way in my last trailer that not having a dehumidifier can lead to problems like dry rot and mold. Now I have nothing but healthy, dry air thanks to this device.

My 1,200 square foot home in humid Delaware is effectively cooled by this unit, which covers the entire house. I have to empty it twice a day during the summer, so I recommend connecting a drain hose if possible.
