I purchased this for a refrigerated trailer I was building and it worked great with a cool bot. It's powerful and got the job done, able to maintain 34 degrees in an 8ft x 12ft trailer even on an 85 degree day. It ran almost continuously throughout the entire summer and despite not being designed for my specific use, it definitely met the challenge. It is heavy and requires at least two people to install.

When installing this item, it may be easy to install in a normal house window. However, for larger A/C units like this, it is more likely to be installed in a big room with a non-standard window. I opted to hire two carpenters to handle the installation.

This air conditioner works well in my 950 sq ft apartment with 12' ceilings. Installation was a bit challenging due to its size, but I was able to find a window wide enough to fit it. It requires two people to install and additional support if your window base is narrow. I installed it on the first floor and found a support beam from Home Depot, but I would be hesitant to install it on a second floor due to its weight and size. I like the presets and programming, although it is not WiFi capable. It was a lifesaver during the hot and humid summer days. It plugs into a regular outlet and I didn't have any operational issues during the summer. However, it sometimes gets too cold and it tripped the circuit breaker when everyone was using their A/C on max during the hot days. It's important to be aware of your electrical system when using this unit, especially in older buildings with other tenants.

I would prefer to have these units picked up at my property and replaced with undamaged ones. The air conditioners I order regularly are great, but they consistently arrive damaged due to rough handling by UPS. My Ring video even caught them being dumped on the ground upside down. I've heard from friends that this is standard with UPS, as they don't like handling heavy products alone. It's frustrating, but I suggest buying the extended warranty as the temp control boards tend to go bad.

Three weeks ago, our air conditioning broke during a heatwave in Georgia. I searched online for a window unit that would cool the rooms effectively and be a good value. I found the Impecca AC, which turned out to be very efficient. It took some time to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The unit arrived with some dents and a cracked front plastic fascia, despite the boxing looking intact. It is a unit that requires removing the guts, installing the outer shell in a window opening, and then reinserting the guts before use. It is easier to do with two people due to the weight of the unit. We found a helpful YouTube video for installation, which was much easier to follow than the included instructions. The unit does come with wings, so there is no need to purchase an extra set. The display lights are difficult to see during the day but are great at night due to their low brightness. The unit does a great job cooling and has an acceptable noise level. We are keeping the extra set of wings in case the current ones break, as they are just made of plastic.

The bottom of the box was damaged and appeared to have been in contact with some type of liquid. Additionally, there was a dent in the air conditioner cage and some missing screws. Despite these issues, we were able to install it in the window and it is currently cooling as expected.

This unit is well constructed and provides a loud sound. To address this, simply unscrew the mounting screws and remove the unit from the shell. You will then see a white fan at the back of the unit. Pull the fan forward towards the front and slide it up on the motor shaft, giving it a spin to clear it from the back coils. Once completed, reattach the cover and place the A/C back in your window. It will then operate quietly, like new.

The new refrigerants in this item don't provide the same level of cooling as R22. I replaced my central unit for the living room with this one and it's working well. The thermostat isn't very accurate, but it still keeps the room cool and is more cost-effective to operate than running the central unit. The remote text is too small for me to read, even with glasses. So far, so good. I also moved a 10,000 BTU unit to the bedroom, and I should have chosen a larger one. It seems to run a lot, but it's still cheaper than using the old central unit.

This unit works just as well as a larger 20A unit I used to have, and it's much quieter. I use it to cool my 900 sq. ft. open floor plan first floor, and it keeps the temperature at 72 even during the constant 100F+ highs we've been having. It works very well for me, but results may vary depending on the amount of shade in your area.

The remote has a temperature sensor, but it's an IR remote that needs line-of-sight, so I don't find that feature very useful. The unit's internal temperature sensor works well enough for me.

When the compressor kicks on, it dims all the lights on the circuit. I haven't tested the energy usage yet, but it hasn't tripped the breaker on the same circuit as my home theater system and game consoles. (However, my breakers are 40 years old, so I'm not sure if they work properly.)

The window AC unit is placed in my large bedroom window to block out daytime noise. It is not any noisier than other window AC units. I have a big fan in front of it, aimed at my living room, which keeps me cool during 100-110�� weather. I also use a dehumidifier in the kitchen/laundry room. The AC does not drip outside like my old one. When the AC was set at 69, my highest bill was $140. Now with the AC set in the low 70���s, I���m using $3-4 worth of electricity daily for the whole house. I installed it by placing the whole unit in the window and adding concrete block support. I also properly insulated around it. The only issues I have are with the remote not working well and the difficulty in adjusting the direction of the airflow. However, as long as it keeps the house cool and saves on the electric bill, I am satisfied. It is definitely more cost-effective than central air.

The unit has a weak fan even on high, and I really wish it pushed the cold air harder to cool the rooms faster. However, my other units of different brands do the same thing. It does look nice and isn't loud on high, but that's because the fan is not forceful enough. Overall, it was a good purchase and I bought extended protection because I had a really expensive unit fail the second year in and was refunded without hassle. I recommend protecting yourself on this kind of purchase.

It was a bit difficult to assemble, especially with the extra bracket we bought, but it was worth it. It arrived slightly damaged, but it still works perfectly. It's a lifesaver for us living in the mountains at 7500 feet with lots of windows.

The UPS delivery of the unit was satisfactory, as the box arrived undamaged. Upon inspection, a small dent was found in the condenser coil fins, most likely from the factory, but was easily fixed. The installation process was smooth and all necessary hardware was included and of good quality. The unit has been running perfectly for two days, with a powerful and relatively quiet fan motor. The return air and supply air temperatures were excellent, with a 30�� delta. Overall, I have confidence in the brand based on my positive experience with a similar AC unit that has been in service for 7 years.
