I was disappointed that the item was damaged during shipping, but the unit itself is in good working condition as tested by me. Since I only intend to use it as a backup, I have decided not to go through the hassle of returning it. Despite the shipping issue, I would still recommend this brand and model as it is durable and reliable.

I purchased the 10,000btu unit from Impecca in May '22 and used it for June, July, and August at 62�� on auto mode. It worked really well and kept my small apartment and downstairs area very comfortable. However, this summer it failed after being reinstalled, with only about 4 months of total run time. Customer service informed me that the warranty had expired and suggested contacting a local HVAC for repair. Despite this, they sent me a new 8000btu unit as compensation. I think Impecca is a great choice for cooling needs.

Less than a year and our AC is already malfunctioning in the middle of summer. My husband, who is bed bound, cannot regulate his body temperature and had to be rushed to the ER for overheating. The AC blows cool air for only a few minutes before switching to hot air. Despite keeping the filter clean and the settings correct, it still doesn't work properly. The replacement AC they provided is louder than the last one, but at least the air is cold. They requested a video of the damaged cord before replacing it, so make sure to have a backup AC on hand.

The air conditioner struggled to cool our 450 square foot living room in the hot NYC summer. Even with the setting on high, it only managed to reduce the temperature to below 80 degrees during the daytime. If you want a truly cool room, especially in a sunny space, you may need to consider a higher BTU air conditioner.

We had this unit installed in our bedroom about a week before our upstairs air-conditioner stopped working. We were grateful for the timing because it kept our room nice and cool while we waited for the repair tech to come out. We bought it because our central air couldn't cool down our bedroom during the summer, and it has definitely been worth it. It can get so cold that we have to adjust the temperature, but we're not complaining about that!

This air conditioner works great when set to 72 degrees, but it is important to note that it was delivered on its side and had to be left upright for 24 hours before installation due to the refrigerant. We do not use the remote or wifi, so I cannot comment on those features. However, once properly installed, it works fantastically.

This item is used in my dining room and also extends to my living room. It effectively cools the house quickly, so I don't have to run it for a long time before feeling its effects. It doesn't reach the kitchen, but that's fine because there's a closed door between the dining room and the kitchen. It's not loud, but it can be noticeable when on a phone call and sitting close to it. However, it's not bothersome if I'm not sitting right next to it.

I initially thought the item would be too small for the space I needed it for. The larger size was not available for two weeks, so I opted for the 10k brush instead of the 12k. Surprisingly, it is not under powered at all and can easily maintain cooler temperatures in economy mode.

I also invested in the 4-year protection plan, though I doubt I will even need it, given the durability of Impecca products based on my previous experiences. The fan in this unit is amazing as it can cool a room 15 feet away. The cooling function works well, but there are two issues. Sometimes the unit shuts off when it reaches the desired temperature instead of staying on. Additionally, the remote can only change between Auto and Fan Only modes, even though there are three modes available. Despite these issues, I still think it's a great product and would purchase it again.
