This 115 Volt AC Unit was supposed to be more energy-efficient but I didn't notice any difference in my energy bill. However, the installation cost was higher and I wouldn't do it again. The Impecca AC Unit looks nice and the in-wall installation is also pleasing. It's quite heavy, weighing almost 80 lbs, but I used a two bar support unit which worked well. Despite my initial complaints, after two months the noise became unnoticeable. Overall, I would give it four stars.

This AC unit was a perfect addition to my garage, which can get really hot during the summer. It cools the 400 square foot space nicely with its 3 cooling modes and 3 fan speeds. The remote control and timer make it easy to adjust the temperature, especially when I'm taking a break from yard work. The remote also acts as a thermometer, sending signals to the AC unit to keep it cooling or to kick off. The front filter is easy to access for maintenance.

However, I want to mention that this is an in-wall unit, so installation requires purchasing a sleeve and doing quite a bit of work including cutting through the wall and installing a frame and sleeve. It also requires a 115V outlet, so you may need to hire a professional for installation.

Overall, I'm very impressed with this AC unit and would recommend it to others. It does exactly what it says it will do, and I'm giving it 5/5 stars.

This Impecca AC unit is fantastic! It's quite large and heavy, but my husband and I managed to set it up together. It feels very sturdy and durable, and I can already tell it will last for many years. We installed it in our newly built office and it has made a significant difference in keeping the space cool and comfortable all day long. The unit is quiet, has excellent airflow, and is easy to use and clean. I'm thrilled with my decision to purchase this AC, it's exactly what our office needed. I purchased the Impecca Energy Star 12,000 BTU 115V Wall Mounted Air Conditioner & Dehumidifier to replace an old wall AC, but I was disappointed to discover that it requires 115V when my wall outlet is only 110V. I had to hire an electrical technician to replace it, which cost more than the AC itself. Another option is to purchase an adapter, but it's still expensive. Additionally, the 115V requirement means I can't use my smart plug with this AC, and the smart remote doesn't connect to wifi. I would only recommend this product if you know your outlet is 115V; otherwise, it doesn't make sense to purchase it.

Its construction is heavier and larger than a window unit, making it well-suited for its intended use. I was already familiar with Impecca's quality from a previous purchase of a portable AC unit. I originally wanted to give this item 5 stars, but unfortunately it was damaged during shipping, which was really frustrating. When I spend this much money on a new appliance, I expect it to arrive in perfect condition. However, despite the damage, the unit still works fine for now. I have three Impecca units, all purchased at different times. The first one has been cooling my back-bedroom and hallway since 2020 and has been consistently reliable for 30 months. I bought the second unit in March 2023 to replace a Koldfront AC that stopped working after 39 months. I plan to replace my remaining Koldfront with a third Impecca unit when it stops functioning. I have been very happy with the performance of the Impecca units - they are powerful, reliable, easy to clean, and relatively quiet. They fit nicely in the spaces previously occupied by other units and come with sufficient insulation to fill any gaps. I highly recommend them and don't see the need for an extended warranty, as they are unlikely to pose any problems until after the warranty ends.

The recommended sleeve for this unit is incorrect, but I was able to make it work. The unit is installed and cooling properly, but I noticed there is no drip or water drainage. I removed a device that seemed to serve no purpose, a plunger mounted to the bottom of the unit casing, and now water drains out from the holes. I couldn't find a way to contact Impecca for more information, but any assistance from them would be helpful.

This AC unit effectively cools my living room without making too much noise, unlike some lower priced brands. It has an energy Star rating of 10.5, resulting in lower monthly power bills. I would currently give it an A rating, although I will update my review in the future. As of August 19, 2022, the unit is still working well but has become a bit louder over time. As of April 19, 2023, the unit is still working well and the noise seems to have decreased since initially purchasing it. I will continue to update my review.

However, I was disappointed to find that the remote was missing from my package, despite receiving a manual for the remote controller. We've been using this item for about a month now and it's part of our daily routine. It was easy to install and our space is about 600 sq. ft. spread across two rooms. The only downside is that it is quite loud. The A/C turns on and off automatically to maintain the temperature, which is a nice feature, but the noise level is such that we have to turn the TV up to the maximum and it's difficult to have a conversation within 10' - 15' of the A/C.

I recently purchased this AC after owning an LG one, so I want to share my perspective to help others. I don't understand why someone rated 2 star, as I found the shipping to be excellent and the installation easy. The AC is not very noisy, in fact, it's quieter than my LG one. The remote has a clear and nice screen, unlike my LG remote. I appreciate the separate night mode option and the 8-way cool air direction. The price is also better and it cools the room nicely.

We bought this air conditioner to replace an existing through the wall unit. If you don't already have one installed, you'll need to purchase a sleeve. Installing the new unit was simple, it just slides in. Once installed, it quickly cooled our living room and kitchen, and the remote is easy to use. It's also quieter than our previous window units. The air conditioner cools effectively and has a strong blower. The low fan setting feels more like medium, medium feels like high, and high feels like super high. It's noisier than I expected and adjusting the louvers to direct air up is difficult. The follow-me remote needs to be in line-of-sight with the unit, which limits its usefulness for me. It comes with enough insulation for most wall sleeves, but the instructions are a bit lacking. The compressor start is a bit noisy. Overall, it effectively cools a 1-bedroom apartment of 525 sq. ft.
