This unit is dual purpose, providing both heat and air conditioning, which is a great feature. It is designed to be installed through a wall with proper venting, but can also be installed in a window if there is a nearby 220V outlet and adequate support. It is heavier than a typical window unit, weighing almost 120 pounds, and requires mounting brackets.

The air conditioning unit was purchased for added cooling in a Las Vegas, NV bedroom and installed with a wall sleeve as directed. The 12,000 btu 230v unit is very loud, with a plastic face frame and noticeable rattling. The compressor kicks on and off with a loud thud, making it difficult to sleep through the night. Considering a mini-split system may be a better option, despite the higher cost. It is likely that the unit will be returned.

The AC unit was purchased and installed in July 2022 and was only used occasionally for 2 months. When we turned it on to test, it was very noisy. There is only a month left on the warranty and the first technician said it was the internal bearings, but he couldn't fix it. We are now waiting for a second visit from an Impecca technician. The customer service experience has been extremely disappointing. This AC unit is of poor quality and I will not be buying anything from Impecca again.

This summer in NJ has been marked by intense heat waves, and I have found that my new A/C unit has made a significant difference in my electric bill compared to my old one. I recently replaced an old White Westing House AC unit in my apartment, which has been in the building since it opened 50 years ago. The new unit has 220 volt horizontal prongs and I was able to easily install it myself using the kit that came with everything I needed. As a 28 year old woman, I consider myself fairly handy. I have purchased two of these air conditioner units and have noticed that the rooms they are installed in seem to be more humid compared to when I used previous air conditioners. Despite having clean screens, the clean screen lights are on in both units. The overall cooling is satisfactory but not as effective as the older units of the same size that we had before. I do appreciate that the units stick out less from the wall and the plastic trim frame adds a nice touch to the wall unit.

I bought two of these air conditioner units to replace old ones in my apartment building. They were easy to install into the existing sleeve, although we did have to prop them up at the back. The second one went in faster after the first one was installed. Both tenants love the new units, saying they are much quieter and don't cycle on and off as much as the old ones. This air conditioner arrived with some damage to the box and the wire cage in the back. I'm not sure how to get these pieces replaced.
