Although I was hesitant to pay the higher price for it, I knew I needed a durable appliance. I'm glad that I made the decision to purchase it because we are all delighted with it now.

After using my GE Spacemaker for 30 years, I had to replace it and decided on a Impecca microwave after doing a lot of research. The size of microwaves has increased a lot in 30 years, and I didn't want to cut into my cabinets or block my back burners. The Impecca was the only microwave that fit perfectly without sticking out past my cabinets. I also chose it because it was only slightly taller than my old one. I paid $263 after tax, which I think is a great price. The vent directs air out at an angle upwards and it has double surface lights to see the stove. It does everything I need a microwave to do, and I am very satisfied with it.

I conducted extensive research before purchasing this unit, as there was confusion about whether it was front or rear venting. I ultimately took a chance and found that it has both options. My only concern is the door latch alignment due to the lower quality hinges causing a bit of sag.
