The fridge is of good quality and keeps items cold. I specifically didn't want a model with a freezer, but this one has one.

The cooling is effective and the packaging was excellent. The fridge looks good and is the right size. It is less noisy than my old fridge, but it is still noisier than I had expected. I'm not sure how the 45 dBA rating was determined, but it may be best-case scenario with the average being slightly higher. Despite my efforts to level it on a flat surface, it still turns on quite often. I wish it had a bit more flexibility in temperature and turned on less frequently. Whether it seems quiet or not depends on the background noise in your environment. In noisier environments, it will seem quiet, but in quieter environments like a bedroom, the noise is fairly noticeable. The dominant frequency is at 60 Hz, with not too many peaks at higher frequencies. While this is a positive point, it may mean that the corners of your room have a lot of bass resonance, which is important to consider if the fridge will be in your bedroom. Overall, I don't think it's a bad product and it's manageable. I hope that in the future, TEK cooler technology improves to the point where it can be used in larger fridges for quieter operation.
