It is quieter than a swamp cooler and it really puts out cool air. I haven't seen the impact on my electricity bill yet, but the box claims it saves energy. The remote is good, but using the smart app is more practical. The app isn't the best, but it gets the job done. Overall, it's a great window air conditioner. If your main AC breaks and you can't afford a new one, this will get you through the summer.

I recently purchased the Impecca 18,000 BTU window air conditioner and was immediately struck by the size of the box - it's huge! The AC comes mostly assembled, with just the front pieces needing to be connected. Despite its powerful 18,000 BTU rating, it operates at a quiet 44dB. It is quite heavy at 110 pounds, but this is to be expected for such a powerful unit. The installation was straightforward, with the included curtain sliders, foam coverings, and mounting materials making it easy to get properly sealed off. The included remote and support brackets were also a nice touch.

During installation, I found that I needed additional support brackets and had to trim back part of the window lining to get it to fit. I also had to have a new outlet wired in to support the AC, which was an added expense and frustration. However, once it was up and running, I was very pleased with its performance. It is very quiet and effectively cools my ~500 Sqft ground floor. I have yet to see if it will have an impact on my energy bill, but I am overall very impressed with this AC and would recommend it to others.
