This product is very noisy and has a red dot for the dust filter, but it is actually clean. However, there are no instructions provided on how to clear the red dot.

This air conditioning unit does a decent job of cooling my 150 square foot bedroom, but the noise levels are unbearable. My previous GE A/C was much quieter, and I find it difficult to sleep with the constant whine coming from this unit. I've even had to use it in the winter to cool down my apartment, but the noise is just too much. I'm really disappointed and wish I had chosen a different A/C. UPDATE 12/24/23: It has stopped working and no longer cools my room, despite me trying extreme settings. It also makes grinding noises. I regret spending money on this unit.
