Room Conditions
To maximize your unit's cooling efficiency, Calculate the required BTU according to the conditions of the room in which it will be placed.

For rooms with a lot of sunlight, choose a unit with at least 10% more BTUs than what is required by the size of the room.
For kitchens, select a unit with 4,000more BTUs than what is required by the size of the room.
If the room will contain more than 2 people on a regular basis, add an additional 600 BTUs per person.

I purchased this air conditioner to replace my old one that wasn't working well. The difference it has made is amazing. It has exceeded my expectations and has been a fantastic investment. It has been efficient and effective in keeping my home cool from the very beginning, and the price was very reasonable. This item was perfect for a small bedroom and fit just right. However, I had trouble removing the cover of the remote control to insert the batteries. It sounds crazy, but I couldn't get it off.

I recently purchased a new 8,000 Impecca air conditioner to replace my old 5,000 Impecca that stopped working after 7 years. The new design is beautiful and easy to install, and it works perfectly. Surprisingly, the remotes for my 10,000 btu and the old 5,000 Impecca both work with the new 8,000 Impecca, but not the other way around. This has been a big help because I often lose my remotes.
