This air conditioner is great for cooling a single room, but it does tend to be quite noisy. However, that's just the nature of these types of units.

After my air conditioning broke and the temperature inside reached 95 degrees with a heat index of 105, I bought this product because my apartment takes a long time to fix anything. I placed one in my living room and one in my bedroom, and the temperature dropped from 87 to 73 overnight. I recommend closing the doors to the rooms you don't use for maximum effectiveness.

This air conditioner is effective for cooling a large area, but it tends to leak water in heavy rain, causing the fan to slow down temporarily. Despite this issue, it works well and provides very cold air.

The unit is not unboxed yet and needs to be placed on a shelf for zonal air conditioning in case of an emergency. The electromechanical controls with scroll compressor must be able to withstand power transients during emergencies.
