This item works really well, and I'm very pleased with it.

I found it easy to install, and it blows cold air while being much quieter than my previous unit.

The air flow is very powerful.

The app does not retain the temperature settings and always defaults back to 68, causing the system to run continuously. It's not worth it.

Less than a year and our AC is already malfunctioning in the middle of summer. My husband, who is bed bound, cannot regulate his body temperature and had to be rushed to the ER for overheating. The AC blows cool air for only a few minutes before switching to hot air. Despite keeping the filter clean and the settings correct, it still doesn't work properly. The replacement AC they provided is louder than the last one, but at least the air is cold. They requested a video of the damaged cord before replacing it, so make sure to have a backup AC on hand.

The air conditioner struggled to cool our 450 square foot living room in the hot NYC summer. Even with the setting on high, it only managed to reduce the temperature to below 80 degrees during the daytime. If you want a truly cool room, especially in a sunny space, you may need to consider a higher BTU air conditioner.
