This AC unit exceeded my expectations, despite having slight scratches and dents. It's the second one we've purchased and I was able to install it myself. It runs on 120 VAC and along with another unit, it effectively cools our entire 1,500 sf. bungalow in Charleston, SC. It kept the place cool even during 5 weeks of extremely hot and humid weather. The power usage was lower than our previous central unit and we didn't need any service calls. The unit is well-made and requires minimal maintenance, with washable filters and a Power Saver setting that keeps indoor humidity low. It's also very quiet. Overall, it's a great unit and worth the price.

I really love this unit overall. I haven't experienced the issues that others have, except for when it rains. Water drips into the fan compartment and makes a terrible noise until it evaporates. To fix this, I had to put an awning above it. I live in a very hot area, so even when it's raining, it can still be over 100 degrees, so turning it off is not an option. Everything else about it is great. The remote is fantastic, but you have to point it at least 45 degrees and wait 10 seconds for the unit to respond. I live in an old mobile home with thin walls, so I have to set it at 68 degrees to keep the back rooms cool. It's not the unit's fault, it's my mobile home's lack of insulation. Despite that, my electric bill is generally less than $40 per month, so it's relatively cheap to run.

I absolutely love this air conditioner. It's incredibly lightweight, easy to set up and use, and it looks so much nicer and cleaner than my old one. The cold air it provides and the variety of settings make it easy to stay comfortable. Controlling it from my phone or the remote is a fantastic feature. I highly recommend this purchase.

We had to replace our A/C after 10 years, and this new one works great! It even cools a larger area comfortably, sometimes making it feel too cold.
