This microwave works well and I'm happy with its overall operation. It beeps 3 or 4 times when it's done, and then beeps again if you don't open the door for a minute or two. It's not annoying, just a gentle reminder. I've had it for about 3 months now and it's still working fine. It's surprising that it's lasted longer than 1 year. As of January 2023, it's still working as expected with no issues, and it will be 5 years old in a few months.

Consumer Reports gave this microwave their highest rating and it is also economical for a full-size 1000 W microwave. However, the signal at the end of the cooking time does not stop when the door is opened, which can be annoying.

I purchased this product primarily for its price and I am very happy with it. It was a replacement for a Panasonic microwave that I bought eight years ago. The microwave does not have many complicated features, which I wouldn't use anyway. The only feature I miss is the ADD A MINUTE button, but the defrost mode works very well for evenly defrosting frozen food.

The timer does not display the remaining time and resets to regular time after about 3 seconds. There is no way to tell how much time is left on the timer and it only makes one ding when it is finished. Users need to be aware of this when using the timer. Other than that, the timer seems to work fine.

I researched microwaves under $100 that can fit a full size 12 inch dinner plate (1.1 cu feet capacity). There aren't many options available, but Consumer Reports rates the Impecca brand at the top of the list in this category. I recommend this unit as it heats evenly and quickly, and is easy enough to use. The buttons are easy to see, which is a must for me. I'm on a fixed income and can't spend hundreds on a microwave, but I am very satisfied with this oven for just $100.

This product was purchased as a gift for my mother and she is extremely satisfied with it. It is user-friendly and functions perfectly. It is able to accommodate her tall coffee cups and dinner plates. It met our expectations and we are very grateful.
