    Great item
Review by Vortex / (Posted on 6/4/2021)
After testing this Item overnight in my basement, I can confirm that it works as expected. I recommend setting the backside air inlet to the side to save space and allow the unit to be placed closer to the wall. I appreciate the shape design and top maneuverability. The noise level is acceptable, but I am not sure about the energy efficiency yet.

    House purchase for seeping roof
Review by ABeyRise / (Posted on 3/18/2021)
I recently moved from IL to MS and bought my first house, a small fixer upper. I found that the interior humidity reached 85% one year, so I decided to purchase a dehumidifier. I couldn't find a good one at Lowes, so I bought one on a whim for $300 less than the Lowes equivalent. Here are my thoughts:

    Pros:
    - The dehumidifier works very well and quickly. I have the 1500 unit in my living room and the 4500 in my kitchen, and they both work effectively in those rooms.
    - The continual mode connector is a standard garden hose connector, making it easy to set up a drainage system out of a window.
    - The dehumidifier can drop the humidity by 10% per hour and shuts off at 50%, but in my poorly sealed house, it usually levels out around 54% and runs constantly.

    Meh:
    - The connector for the continual flow is made of plastic, which I worry could wear easily.
    - The noise level is average and can be tuned out when the TV is on, but it does have a slight condensation issue.

    Cons:
    - The wheels are not visible, so there is no way to lock them when using the dehumidifier in continual mode. It can be a bit of a hassle to prop it up for proper draining.
    - There is a slight condensation issue, which can be fixed with pipe insulation.

    Conclusion:
Overall, I found the dehumidifier to be worth the $200 price. It has a sharp design, feels quality, and has proven to be compact and effective in my home. I purchased two units and would recommend them to others.
