We are extremely satisfied with this microwave. It has a sturdy, well-built construction, looks beautiful, and operates very quietly. Although I was hesitant to pay the higher price for it, I knew I needed a durable appliance. I'm glad that I made the decision to purchase it because we are all delighted with it now.

After using my GE Spacemaker for 30 years, I had to replace it and decided on a Impecca microwave after doing a lot of research. The size of microwaves has increased a lot in 30 years, and I didn't want to cut into my cabinets or block my back burners. The Impecca was the only microwave that fit perfectly without sticking out past my cabinets. I also chose it because it was only slightly taller than my old one. I paid $263 after tax, which I think is a great price. The vent directs air out at an angle upwards and it has double surface lights to see the stove. It does everything I need a microwave to do, and I am very satisfied with it.

I conducted extensive research before purchasing this unit, as there was confusion about whether it was front or rear venting. I ultimately took a chance and found that it has both options. My only concern is the door latch alignment due to the lower quality hinges causing a bit of sag.

The fasteners at the top of the unit came loose while attaching the bolts, so they need to come up with a more secure way to keep them in place. It's really frustrating. ����

I am extremely pleased with this basic white unit. It is well suited for my needs as a senior and is perfect for reheating coffee and prepping lunch. The controls are easy to use and well located, and the range exhaust and light are essential for me. It's too soon to evaluate longevity, but at this point, it's a big win for me!

The mounting templates provided were effective, but I had some difficulties getting the top template flush in my space during installation, which was a problem with my own house. The cooking is hotter than my previous microwave, which may be why I needed to replace it. The power level settings are strange, with 1 being the highest and 10 being the lowest when using manual power levels. This is opposite of most other devices I've encountered, so it's something to be aware of when using this microwave.

The advertised wattage was 1100 watts, but the label on the unit stated 1200 watts. However, the actual usage according to my meter was 1400 watts, which exceeded the capacity of my RV inverter. I will be returning the unit.
