Quality Impecca 0.7 Cubic Foot Microwave: Small Microwave with 6 Power Levels and Grip
Review by CharlieReadsBigApple / (Posted on 2/15/2024)I recently got this product and it works really well. It's perfect for my small space. There's no computer set up or programming required. Just enter the food, close the door, and turn the knob. It heats the food evenly and perfectly. I hadn't heard of Impecca before but Consumer Reports gave it the best ratings for small microwaves. I'm very happy with this product. -
Quality Functioning well in a big rig.
Review by Amber Smith. / (Posted on 2/12/2024)I purchased this for my semi truck and it functions perfectly at just the right wattage. -
Quality Ideal fit for me!
Review by DeltaSunriseWave / (Posted on 2/10/2024)I had stopped using microwaves for a while, but I missed the convenience of reheating food and coffee. Some of my favorite Trader Joe's frozen foods only had microwave instructions, so I was happy to find this microwave that didn't take up too much counter space. It has 700 watts, which is lower than most microwaves, but I just add a minute or two to the cooking time. I did have to put black electrical tape over the bottom feet because it kept sliding, but that worked perfectly. -
Quality Enjoy this small microwave.
Review by Customer / (Posted on 2/6/2024)Simple, compact, and easy to use. No need for buttons! I adore this product and highly recommend it. -
Quality Compact, but effective for limited areas.
Review by Gwendolyn / (Posted on 1/30/2024)We chose this smaller, black microwave for our new countertops to save space. It does the job, but it lacks power, so you need to add time when using it for frozen meals. However, for occasional use in a small space, it's a decent option. -
Quality For my mom
Review by TenaRose / (Posted on 1/8/2024)My mother, who has dementia, is able to use this microwave effectively. The one-minute setting is slightly less than a full minute, but it's not a major issue as she can simply reheat her food if needed. -
Quality A nifty microwave
Review by newuniqueone / (Posted on 1/4/2024)This uncomplicated appliance for warming up meals was essential for an elderly individual. Its straightforward functions were well-suited for the older user's new routines. -
Quality Small oven, obey these guidelines.
Review by TechieX / (Posted on 12/29/2023)My mom needed something simple, and this oven was perfect for her. It's large enough to reheat her food, and the controls are user-friendly. -
Quality Content with the sturdy little oven.
Review by JanKilo / (Posted on 12/7/2023)After using this oven for 3 months, I am very impressed with its performance. Despite the affordable price, it is not flimsy at all and operates quietly. I primarily use it for making oatmeal and heating microwave dinners, and it does a great job. The only limitation I have encountered is with a frozen dinner that required a 1200 watt oven, while this one is only 700 watts. However, I was able to work around it by defrosting and heating the meal carefully. I recommend using a cooking thermometer when using this oven, but overall I am extremely pleased with its performance. I highly recommend it to others. -
Quality Exceptional item
Review by trentil / (Posted on 11/29/2023)This microwave fits perfectly in my small cabinet space, which surprised me. It's affordable and durable, so I always keep a spare on hand. I hope they never stop making it because I rely on it so much. -
Quality Adore This Microwave
Review by Echo42. / (Posted on 11/25/2023)I had to replace my name brand microwave after one year, but it actually worked out for the best. I wanted a smaller, easier to use model that would free up more counter space. The dials are simple and easy to read, which is a welcome change from push pads. This new microwave is much easier on my painful finger joints. It doesn't fit large plates, but I don't want to lift heavy dishes anymore. The lower wattage is only noticeable when heating multiple items at once, but it's not a big issue. I love the soft bell sound it makes when done and that it doesn't keep beeping. I just have to remember to turn off the power dial when I'm not using it, as it turns on when the door is closed. I've only been using it for a month, so I can't speak to its longevity, but I'm really happy with it so far. -
Quality Compact microwave ideal for small spaces.
Review by KittyGlam / (Posted on 11/10/2023)I bought this small microwave as a backup while I was between moves, but I might end up using it full time instead of my $400 microwave. I originally wanted something affordable and compact, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of fingerprints on the non-digital panel. It doesn't have a clock, but it's lightweight and easy to clean. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase. -
Quality Highly efficient compact microwave
Review by Maximus / (Posted on 11/9/2023)All-encompassing -
Quality Surpassed expectations, efficient heating, pleasant ding sound
Review by Christina / (Posted on 11/9/2023)I'm really happy with my new Impecca .6 microwave. It has analog dials/knobs and a ring tone that's a bit loud but much better than beeps. I got the white oven and I like that the dial markings are dark grey, which is more attractive than I expected. The noise it makes while baking is a low-tone hum, not annoying and not too loud for a small oven. It heats liquids quickly and can gently warm solids. I especially like the shape of the door pull - it's slightly contoured and easy to open with one hand. -
Quality Fantastic, compact and easy to use
Review by Esme Castillo / (Posted on 10/21/2023)The microwave is just the right size for any spot in the kitchen, and it's small and adorable. It's perfect for fixing things. -
Quality Compact microwave for tight spaces
Review by JaiDee92 / (Posted on 9/7/2023)This compact microwave is perfect for small spaces and operates more quietly than my old one. It's great for reheating food, although I haven't tested it for longer cooking times. -
Quality Retro style
Review by TNmsJuly / (Posted on 8/11/2023)My 92-year-old mother replaced her original microwave, which she received in her 50's, with this one. It's the only type she knows how to use, and she has found it to be great for her. She wouldn't have wanted any of the newer push-button microwaves. All she has to do is turn the dial, and she's good to go. -
Quality d with a similar phrase: Received. Damaged.
Review by Linda Smith / (Posted on 8/3/2023)Initial item received was damaged, but a replacement was promptly provided. The new item appears to be in good working condition. -
Quality Pleasant ... YET,
Review by Amazingjimi / (Posted on 8/3/2023)The black dial on this microwave is impossible to read without the backlight, which is disappointing. However, I do like that it rings a single bell when the task is done instead of having an annoying beep. This was advertised as easy for seniors to use, but the control numbers are too small to be legible. I gave it a poor rating. Update: I returned it and the process through Amazon was very easy. -
Quality Adore this small microwave!
Review by Jill A. Smith / (Posted on 7/10/2023)I was in need of a new microwave to replace my old GoldStar one that lasted over 20 years. The Impecca microwave is almost an exact match and fits perfectly in my small kitchen with limited counter space. I love the easy-to-use dials, and the microwave heats up food quickly and at a higher power than I expected. I typically don't write reviews, but this microwave is definitely worth raving about. I use it daily for steaming vegetables, baking potatoes, and reheating leftovers. So far, I'm very happy with it! -
Quality [Simple for older adults
Review by Elderly Gentleman / (Posted on 6/27/2023)My 93-year-old aunt is no longer able to operate the gas stove because of forgetfulness. This has alleviated worries about whether she shut off the stove and she now eats very little. Thank you. -
Quality Efficient Compact Microwave
Review by Max / (Posted on 3/27/2023)I was initially pleased with this microwave, as I preferred the simplicity of its function - just turn the dial and you're set. However, I have encountered a couple of issues that have made me reconsider my satisfaction. Firstly, the lack of a light when the door is open has proven to be an inconvenience, as I often prefer not to turn on the kitchen light. Additionally, the inability to clean the inside of the window due to the non-removable metal screen is frustrating, especially since steam buildup only worsens the problem. Overall, these drawbacks have led me to the decision to purchase a different microwave. -
Quality Faulty product, malfunctioned after 2 months of use.
Review by Sandy Shore / (Posted on 1/17/2023)After just 2 months of use, the microwave unexpectedly stopped heating, and the only option was to return it to Amazon. This was inconvenient and disappointing, as the product was defective and unable to properly pop popcorn. -
Quality Modify the timer.
Review by BevWilly / (Posted on 12/16/2022)I originally bought this microwave for my elderly mother because it had simple controls. However, she didn't like it so I gave her my old one and kept this for myself. I find that I love it - I can simply twist the dial to cook my food without needing to program or push any buttons. The only issue I have encountered is that it's hard to set short cooking times, as all minutes on the dial are the same size. I wish the first two minutes were bigger so I could set it more accurately for shorter cooking times. Other than that, I am very happy with it. It comes in 750 watt and 1100 watt versions, and I have found that the 750 watt works fine for frozen meals without needing to adjust the cooking times. -
Quality Preferring the dial over the turn knob
Review by Daliah / (Posted on 11/1/2022)This microwave is exactly what I need in terms of power and size. It may not be much, but I am extremely satisfied with it. I've been using it for about 8 weeks now and I couldn't be happier. -
Quality Perfect for older adults
Review by PhoenixRising / (Posted on 9/22/2022)This microwave has been in use for about 2 weeks and so far, it's working well. My 92-year-old father has limited eyesight and hand coordination issues. He struggled with using the buttons on his old microwave, so I taped the power dial to High and now he only needs to turn the lower knob to start it. It's great to see him feel independent when he wants to make tea or warm something up. It replaced our old 1200 watt Panasonic microwave, which we nicknamed Chernobyl, but this one has enough wattage for my father's needs, heating up a mug of water in about 90 seconds. I would give it a 5-star rating, but it could be sturdier and made with better materials. Overall, it's just an average machine, not like a Commercial one. -
Quality Basic commands
Review by Customer / (Posted on 7/31/2022)This microwave was perfect for our elderly family member who needed something easy to use. -
Quality Works very well.
Review by Martin E / (Posted on 7/7/2022)I like the fact that this is strictly mechanical. No electronics to go out. Just turn a knob for the heat setting and cook time and that's it. It's small, but just right for me. A popcorn bag is probably the largest thing I will put in it. -
Quality Ideal for the visually impaired
Review by Martha M Rosebud / (Posted on 7/4/2022)Ideal for individuals with visual impairments. -
Quality Easy to utilize
Review by BB / (Posted on 6/6/2022)I absolutely adore this microwave. It's user-friendly and performs well. It's all I was looking for. I'm not very good with technology and I can't be bothered to read any manuals. -
Quality Fantastic value.
Review by Tad / (Posted on 6/4/2022)This microwave works really well with its adjustable power feature. It's a nice change from other microwaves in this price range that always cook on full power. I appreciate the simplicity of the unit, though the knob settings can be difficult to read. It took some time to get used to the lower knob being the timer, but once you understand it, you'll really like this microwave. -
Quality That it was easy
Review by Customer / (Posted on 6/3/2022)Awesome easy to use -
Quality Awesome product
Review by M. Lee / (Posted on 4/27/2022)My mother needed a easy microwave. She is mostly blind. She demanded a dial microwave not buttons . Screens with numbers didn't work. Thank you -
Quality Microwave with dials
Review by F. Halliday / (Posted on 3/29/2022)It's great, love it. It's just big enough for one person, and works well too. -
Quality A Grade Plus
Review by JohnDoe / (Posted on 3/20/2022)Purchased this for an elderly individual who preferred traditional dials, and it functions perfectly for her. -
Quality Loud and Unruly
Review by BladeRunner / (Posted on 3/5/2022)This heater is effective at heating, but it can be noisy. The timer dial is difficult to read and understand. -
Quality Super Easy
Review by Gma22 / (Posted on 2/20/2022)Not complicated for 92 year old visually impaired living independently. Small but large enough for TV dinners. -
Quality Love it!
Review by ashley norris / (Posted on 2/7/2022)Perfect size for dinner plates. Its all you need! It has turn nobs(LOVE) when its completed cook time it has a pleasant Ding sound. Its not clonky, no anoying beep with everytouch of a number pressed, just turn the knob! -
Quality easy
Review by Luna / (Posted on 2/2/2022)The control panel is simple to use and doesn't require electronic resetting, which is great. However, because it's located low on a cart, it was difficult to read the small knobs. We added larger markings at the commonly used spots, which improved visibility. It does take some getting used to, but it's easy to remember to shut it off when opening the door. -
Quality Blind-accessible
Review by Diane77 / (Posted on 1/21/2022)The microwave is fine until I add bubbles to the marks. -
Quality Stupid simple, excellent function -> Super easy, amazing feature
Review by Riley / (Posted on 1/9/2022)I've had multiple microwaves with push buttons that would stop working unexpectedly, so I would have to rely on the +30 sec button until that also stopped working. All you really need in a microwave is the ability to adjust the power and set the time. It's been 3 months and I haven't had any problems with this microwave. It's one of the best appliance purchases I've made in a while. -
Quality microwave: not suitable for elderly appliances
Review by Natalie / (Posted on 12/4/2021)I purchased a microwave for my aunt who has severe arthritis and is blind in one eye. It was advertised as being designed for people with physical limitations, but it was not suitable for her. The dial was difficult for her to see and she struggled to open the door without falling. I do not recommend this microwave and was able to return it for a more suitable option. -
Quality Adore the dials
Review by Luna / (Posted on 9/21/2021)This microwave may not provide precise minutes and seconds, but that's the trade-off for its old-school charm. We only use it for basic tasks like warming up food and defrosting, so it suits our needs perfectly. Hopefully, it will outlast the modern one we used to have. -
Quality Microwave for Countertop
Review by STEVEN A. / (Posted on 8/19/2021)I would definitely buy this again because Grammy really appreciates the control knob and not having to deal with a touch pad! -
Quality Product is great

Quality Efficient and straightforward microwave.
Review by NewName / (Posted on 7/26/2021)This new microwave was bought to replace a 37-year-old non-digital one. My elderly mother needed a replacement that was easy to use and didn't have a clock that needed to be set. She finds the handle comfortable and the control knobs for power level and timer just perfect. The size inside is similar to her old one, and it fits her full-sized plates well. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase. -

Quality microwave: Inrush Current Requires Additional 420W (35A) in First 100 Milliseconds.
Review by Ricky300 / (Posted on 7/6/2021)I recently purchased a small and lightweight microwave to use while camping. I initially powered it with a 100AH LiFePO4 battery and 1000W inverter, but found that the battery would shut down when trying to start up the microwave. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the microwave had an inrush current of 35A during the first 100 milliseconds of operation, which was not mentioned in the specifications. This exceeded the over current shutdown of the basic LiFePO4 battery. I had to switch to a Smart BMS version of the battery, which allowed me to adjust the over current protection to account for the inrush current. Despite this issue, I still find the microwave to be ideal for camping due to its small and lightweight design. I would have rated it 5 stars if the inrush current had been documented in the specifications. -
Quality Simple for seniors

Quality My elderly mother-in-law loves this microwave!
Review by Customer / (Posted on 6/24/2021)We purchased this for my husband's 91 year old mother. She loves it! We had purchased a different microwave for her and it was too complicated for her trying to work the keypad. But this has been totally simple to operate and she's completely happy with this microwave! Great deal for the money, and nice compact size, but large enough to reheat a regular sized plate of food. Very pleased with this purchase! -
Quality Excellent

Quality Mighty Dynamic!!
Review by LightningVolt / (Posted on 5/24/2021)The microwave is great, but I wasn't a fan of having to time the seconds/minutes to avoid overcooking the food. However, once you get the hang of it, it's perfect. It's very powerful, has different heat settings, and fits perfectly in small kitchens. It may be small in width but it has a deep depth. -
Quality Simple and sweet
Review by Bonnie J. Hill / (Posted on 5/9/2021)I like the dials instead of push buttons. -
Quality Excellent for Seniors!
Review by MichRam / (Posted on 4/17/2021)My mother loved this! The dials were clear and very easy to read. Not a lot of dials to make it confusing. Plenty of power for her needs! -

Review by MayraDancerGirl / (Posted on 4/6/2021)After searching for days, I finally found a microwave that doesn't have too many buttons. This one is just the right size to fit our largest plates and powerful enough for my family of 6. I would definitely recommend it. -

Quality The AK-47 next to the microwaves
Review by Dmitrii S. / (Posted on 3/26/2021)I absolutely adore this microwave. The old-school rotary dials are a refreshing change in a world of increasingly smarter devices that often invade our privacy. It's a welcome break from the trend of smarter devices making users more reliant. I now consider this microwave a must-have for any real man, alongside a G3/CETME-style rifle and a Subaru Forester with manual transmission. I'm thinking of diving into retro tubes-based electronics next. Remember to stay composed and make your voice heard with your purchasing decisions - that's the only vote that truly matters. -
Quality Microwave Basics
Review by Lyricist / (Posted on 3/24/2021)I am impressed with the oven's design. It has no buttons, just dials to start and change heating levels. It has been working great so far, although I can't speak to its long-term reliability as I've only had it for a few weeks. -
Quality Exceptional item

Quality Simple to use
Review by Hollyrose123 / (Posted on 3/10/2021)This microwave is user-friendly and ideal for elderly and visually impaired individuals. It is also aesthetically pleasing. While it may not be the quietest, it still functions well. However, it's important to note that using it with wet hands may be a bit challenging. -
Quality Excellent quality and ideal fit!

Quality Gets the job done.
Review by S. T. / (Posted on 2/26/2021)My 90-year-old mother-in-law loves the microwave I bought for her. It's perfect for her because it's easy to use with just 2 dials for power and time. It's not fancy, but if you just need to heat things up, it's great. It's not as small as some microwaves, but it fits nicely on her counter. If you want a basic, easy-to-use microwave, this is a good choice. -
Quality Good for the price
Review by Rich / (Posted on 2/16/2021)Nice big dials, easy to read.
At High setting, burns food.
I use next lower setting to microwave my foods. -
Quality Great for visually impaired! Easy to use!

Quality Easy to Operate
Review by Nemo / (Posted on 2/6/2021)The microwave was purchased for a person with impaired vision - legally blind. He was unable to see the buttons on a flat screen control panel. This microwave has only two knobs which are manually detectible. He only needs to rotate the timing knob clockwise to operate the microwave. A simplistic appliance usable by individuals with restricted abilities. -

Quality Great for Elderly Mom
Review by willowisp1000 / (Posted on 11/16/2020)Mom couldn't manage my large convection/microwave that has tons of buttons. I bought this for her. We keep it on a small stand next to her chair to allow her to heat up things herself. Despite a short-term memory loss, she is able to use this successfully. I did use a magic marker to indicate the 50% marker to encourage consistency. She loves it, I love it. She's 101. -
Quality Gr8 Look, Easy Use! Leave Door Open After Use!
Review by Boyd Pease / (Posted on 11/13/2020)Gr8 looking Easy Use!
If it does not cause safety or collision hazard LEAVE MICROWAVE DOOR OPEN SOME AFTER USE!
ALLOWS EMITTERS TO DRY AIR OUT BEFORE NEXT USE!
Last microwave worked fine till I started heating water for coffee in pyrex measuring cup to put in french press. Steam moisture build up started causing microwave to get electric burning smell and sparks. Next microwave started leaving door open as it sits on a small exclusive counter. No problems now as it dries and evaporates steam inbetween use! Also dont heat to boiling only hot enough to do job so reduces steam production.
SO IF NO COLLISION HAZARD....
LEAVE MICROWAVE DOOR OPEN SOME TO EVAPORATE MOISTURE AND WONT BURN OUT MICROWAVE!!! -

Review by B. Thayer / (Posted on 11/4/2020)It was a gift for my father that has issues seeing and he found it very easy to use having the numbers on the dial larger. -
Quality Works perfectly!
Review by StephanieB21 / (Posted on 11/4/2020)This microwave has been effective overall, but the plastic ring that rotates the glass has a tendency to veer off track since it is too lightweight. -
Quality Microwave for a senior
Review by RoseAnn / (Posted on 10/19/2020)My 88 yr old aunt needed a microwave with a dial control. She has had the microwave for about a month. And so far no issues. Quality Practical
Review by Peter James / (Posted on 7/13/2020)This compact Microwave is both powerful and visually appealing. However, it is difficult to accurately set the timer for less than a minute using the dial. -
Quality Perfect for visually impaired.
Review by KindleReader57 / (Posted on 7/12/2020)This product was purchased for a blind individual. The rotary dials make it more convenient to set the time and temperature. It would be beneficial if there were other models with a rotary option. Not everyone has the ability to see, and flat screen controls are not practical for those with vision impairment. -
Quality Perfect for us!

Review by Maureen Flaherty / (Posted on 1/10/2020)I got this for my mom and she really likes it. Her eyes are not too good so she really likes the dials instead of the buttons that were on her old one. It also looks nice on her counter and meets all of her needs. I recommend. -
Quality Excellent

Quality Rotary-Dial Numbers May be Difficult to Read in This microwave
Review by PolarPete / (Posted on 12/6/2019)I find the rotary dial easy to use, but I do not like that the numbers are hard to read. -
Quality Ecstatically Happy
Review by Roxann S. / (Posted on 12/4/2019)I purchased this microwave for a family member who is visually impaired and she really enjoys it because of its simplicity. It heats food quickly and effectively, and the dials make it easy for her to use. I would absolutely buy this for my elderly grandmother. -
Quality Great microwave
Review by Dezz / (Posted on 9/15/2019)The microwave is about medium size. Meaning it's not too big and not too small. I bought this for my Grandma because her really old one finally died and it was similar to this one. She doesn't like the microwaves with all the buttons and needs something easy to use. The turn style is hard to find but I finally found this one that was also reasonably priced. No problems so far but will update if necessary. Overall a great microwave. -
Quality Wonderful
Review by MW / (Posted on 9/2/2019)Love this microwave. I bought it for my 91 year old mom that was having difficulty using the microwave she has had for years. We set the top knob and put tape on it so she could not move it. She just turns the bottom dial to 1 to warm up her food and its working perfect. -
Quality Perfect for a person with dementia!
Review by Paul Kraml / (Posted on 7/28/2019)Simple/traditional dial controls rather than the digital controls. My mother has Alzheimer's and this works well. -
Quality Easy for elders
Review by Customer / (Posted on 10/16/2018)Got this for my 91 year old grandmother because she couldnt figure out how to shut her other one off when she accidentally pushed too many buttons. It works well reheating her food without stressing her out. -
Quality Mom can have scrambled eggs again
Review by M Spicazoo / (Posted on 10/3/2018)Just like all the other reviewer; I purchased this for a 94, independent mom. Dials , what a concept. Works just as expected. And zero learning curve or fear from pushing buttons that cannot be seen.
Best controls and Excellent price. Yes, it only came in its own box, but it is built to ship and caused no issues.. Sorry about all the extra spaces ;-) I need a new keyboard to review.
Cheers -
Quality Perfect for elderly mother
Review by Stormy B / (Posted on 8/8/2018)My mom bought herself a microwave with about 15+ buttons on it and is confused. I sold that one and bought her this rotary dial so she can warm her food again. She has mild dementia and this is perfect for her. -
Quality Simple to use.
Review by Laura E. Lindler / (Posted on 5/23/2018)I purchased this for my MIL who burned up her last one by putting a foil pan into it. She is nearly blind and elderly, so she needed a very simple microwave. We checked all the big box stores and all microwaves had panels of flat buttons with small writing. The two knobs on this are perfect, much easier for her to tell what she's setting it to. -
Quality Five Stars
Review by melba prince / (Posted on 5/2/2018)I love it. I like it better than any I have had before. -
Quality it's the perfect Microwave for mom
Review by musgrovejb / (Posted on 4/14/2018)Dementia and age make use of a regular microwave with a multitude of buttons and controls hard for Mom. With two controls, (power setting and timer), it's the perfect Microwave for mom.
Only negative is the pointer on the dials are the same white as the dial which makes it difficult to see where the dial is set to. This was easily solved by using a black sharpie to color the pointers on the dials making them easier to see. -
Quality Works really good. Our mom had got to where she couldn't ...
Review by P S. / (Posted on 2/24/2018)Works really good. Our mom had got to where she couldn't use her other microwave due to all the buttons. It really confused her so we got this one with the turn knob. For right now problem solved. It is a quite small. I wish it was a little taller inside. But works nicely for she needs it for -
Quality Perfect for the college student
Review by Taylor / (Posted on 12/15/2017)Ordered for a college student in August and still working fine 5 months later. It is very basic, price is reasonable and fits perfectly on top of her fridge. -
Quality Bought this for Mom for her poor eyesight. She finds this very easy to use
Review by Vicky R. Minneti / (Posted on 7/20/2017)Bought this for Mom for her poor eyesight. She finds this very easy to use. We like it more now than the digital one we had. Heats food nice and hot on high power. Thanks for keeping the product simple. -
Quality Solar-Powered Microwave for Off-Grid Use
Review by JohnyRein / (Posted on 5/8/2015)I purchased this microwave specifically for use with my off-grid solar system, which includes 4 100 watt solar panels, a 40 amp mppt charge control, 4 105 amp hr deep cycle batteries, and a 48 volt 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter. My previous 1100 watt microwave maxed out the inverter and drained the batteries, so I needed a more efficient option.
I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this Impecca 700 watt microwave. It arrived quickly and in good condition, and I found that it heated water and cooked popcorn and a frozen pizza effectively. The microwave draws around 940 to 980 watts when in use, and does not experience any surges on start-up.
Overall, I am satisfied with the performance of this microwave with my off-grid solar system and expect it to be a valuable addition. -
Quality Charming gadget from startup to ding!
Review by Max R. / (Posted on 4/16/2015)The compact microwave has a classic design with a pull-to-open door and turn dials for power and timer. It measures 11 in. width x 10 in. depth x 7.25 in. height, with a 9.5 in. turntable and a 39 in. power cord (or 41 in. with plug). The intake vent is in the rear right and exhaust ports on the left panel. Our household finds the microwave to be small and cute, and the white color and curved edges allow it to blend in with light colored kitchen walls. The device has contrast dark grey text on white labeled turn dials easy to read, with 1 min. increment timer settings up to 10 min. It emits a loud ding! when done, and the dial timer stops at 30 min. max. There are no dozen buttons to cause confusion, but one drawback is the light weight causing the door to shift forward when pulled one handed. The fan may not be powerful enough to evacuate lots of moisture when cooking high water content vegetables for long periods, leaving a small water puddle. Another drawback is the glass or Westinghouse logo installed backwards which is scratchable. Despite these drawbacks, the microwave has worked well.
