Quality Simple for older individuals!
Review by Arthur Conan / (Posted on 3/14/2024)My mom, who is almost 98, needed a new microwave because her old one was too complicated to use. I found this easy-to-use and foolproof microwave for her, with just one big dial to control the timer. It's simple - close the door and it starts, open the door and it stops. It even dings when the food is done cooking. My mom and her helper both love it, and I'm grateful for this great product from Impecca. -
Quality Surprisingly large and formidable.
Review by Daffodil / (Posted on 3/10/2024)I really appreciate the simplicity of this microwave. It reminds me of the ones my grandma used to use, and that's a good thing. It's a fantastic little microwave and I'm really thankful for it. The price was definitely worth it! -
Quality High-Quality Microwave
Review by GeekMaster / (Posted on 3/10/2024)This microwave works well and heats frozen dinners consistently, but there are a couple of design issues. The control knobs are slippery and the timer knob is difficult to turn with wet or greasy hands. Additionally, it makes a lot of noise when cycling on and off, which could potentially shorten its lifespan. -
Quality Oven

Quality Compact microwave perfect for small spaces.
Review by ValdaPauletteUnique / (Posted on 2/22/2024)The lack of a clock on the microwave was disappointing. -
Quality Swap the title for a similar phrase that uses only a single word, without providing any explanations
Review by Shopper77 / (Posted on 2/18/2024)I am fed up with touchpad microwaves. Electronics keep malfunctioning in less than a year. They are as unreliable as Christmas toys. This one is smaller and easier to operate - just turn the knob. GE needs to remember KISS - keep it simple stupid. -
Quality Great!
Review by KindleReader57 / (Posted on 2/17/2024)is great because it's quiet and simple, which I really appreciate. -

Quality Microwave in the man cave
Review by Alex / (Posted on 11/27/2023)This microwave is perfect for my garage, where I need something easy to use due to my poor vision. The turn knob for the timer and heating level are exactly what I need, and the microwave is solidly built and works very well. I've used it for a few different things and it has been more than adequate for everything. I was able to heat up rice, bean, and cheese burritos and my Thanksgiving leftovers were consistently heated all the way through. I have also had no problems popping microwave popcorn with it. Overall, it has easily passed all of my tests. -
Quality Ideal for a camping trailer
Review by KindleReader57 / (Posted on 11/6/2023)The classic dial for setting the cooking time is great. It's the perfect size for our trailer. -
Quality User-friendly
Review by Jaxon / (Posted on 11/4/2023)I have this microwave installed in my camper van and it works really well. It has a lower wattage and is paired with a 3000 watt pure sine inverter. When in use, it typically shows about 1300 watts being used. It heats up quickly and is simple to use. -
Quality Simple and Peaceful
Review by Luna / (Posted on 10/13/2023)I purchased the One Beep Only microwave because I didn't want one with a lot of annoying beeps. I also liked that it only has one knob for programming instead of having to input a bunch of noisy numbers. While the product is in use, the humming is quite low. Some reviews mentioned that it is slower to heat, but I find that it heats my coffee water in less than one minute, which is not really slow in my opinion. It may not be as exact as other microwaves, but I appreciate the overall reheating effect it provides without making food leathery. I've grown to love this microwave and believe my grandmother would have loved it too. I chose the white color for my microwave and appreciate its lower energy consumption. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase after using it for 6 months. -
Quality Found a great ment for my outdated carousel.
Review by Paula S / (Posted on 9/30/2023)I am thrilled with this microwave that has knobs instead of a touch pad with unnecessary options. It's smaller and less powerful than my previous microwave, but it still fits casserole dishes and just requires a little extra time to reach the same heat level. While it may not be as sturdy as my old one, it's still a great appliance. It's easy to set up and use, and I highly recommend it. -
Quality High performance compact microwave - maximum cooking efficiency!
Review by Darius / (Posted on 9/27/2023)I have used this microwave in my travel trailer and it works great. Most of the time, I use it on an inverter with 4 lifepo4 batteries and have had no problems with it. It cooks well and there is a chart available to convert cook times from 1000 or 1100 watt microwaves to a 700 watt micro wave. It works flawlessly and is a fine small microwave! -
Quality Smooth functioning, Minor flaws.
Review by SCgirl / (Posted on 8/27/2023)This microwave is functional, but it bothers me that one of the front metal bases is shorter than the other, causing it to be crooked. I would have exchanged it if I hadn't thrown out the packaging. -
Quality Works fantastic.
Review by Moe S. / (Posted on 8/26/2023)Great for heating up leftovers or making baked potatoes. -
Quality Switch knob, don't touch pad
Review by LoisFaye86 / (Posted on 8/22/2023)The item was originally for the camper, but I ended up liking it, so I changed my mind. I gave the camper the old one and kept the new one at home. -
Quality Unexpected Delights!
Review by ACPress Dude / (Posted on 6/23/2023)After our expensive, name brand, stainless steel, sensor and digital everything, 1200 watt, large microwave stopped heating food after just a few years, we decided to reassess our needs. We ended up purchasing a much smaller, less powerful microwave with no digital features. It has two knobs that control the power level and timer, and it cost us less than $100. Despite its 400 watt power, we found that it still gets the job done, with only a slightly longer cooking time. We were pleasantly surprised to find that even our microwave pressure cooker fits inside. The lack of chimes and digital tunes when the timer runs out is a bonus. If you have modest needs and prefer manual controls, this microwave is worth considering. -
Quality I found the perfect microwave.
Review by Customer / (Posted on 6/20/2023)This product is easy to use and exactly what I was looking for. -
Quality 700w output microwave but requires 950w input
Review by SageSorcerer / (Posted on 3/20/2023)This is a great little 700w microwave, but I couldn't find the input requirements anywhere. It turns out that while the output is 700w, the input rating is actually 950w so it won't work with my 700w solar generator. It's disappointing because I was hoping to use it with my other appliances during power outages. -
Quality Exemplary Senior
Review by NewUniqueOne / (Posted on 3/7/2023)Purchased this for a relative with dementia and the safety features are ideal for their needs. I highly recommend this product. -

Quality Give it a twist and bing!
Review by MeepBeep / (Posted on 10/27/2022)If you've got enough finger strength to turn the large dials found on 1940's TVs, you can use this guy! It makes a faint grinding noise while running, as all microwaves do. The alert sound is a real bell, small and high, run once sharply enough to hear from quite far away. I really REALLY appreciate the SINGLE bell ring, since the usual microwave in my apartment blares 4 times when done, as well as upon every button press.
Been in use for a week, and so far no unexpected operation. Our unit DID smell VERY strongly of factory air when unwrapped and opened. The unit comes with many pieces of blue and clear tape holding on film that protects the glass and other parts during shipping. Good lighting and tweezers or long finger-nails will be required to take off all of it. Perhaps tell a young kid or adult told to make a finger-football out of the tape and film, they'll have a blast!
Leaving the door open for 24 hours and wiping the inside with a standard alcohol-based kitchen wipe before use handily removed the smell. Painted tan-beige metal on the inside means the microwave's inside surface can easily be wiped clean of any spills with water and a paper towel, or a sponge and simple dish soap if the spill is not caught before it dries.
This unit IS quite small, so there's enough room for a bowl of oatmeal, or four coffee mugs arranged carefully in a circle, but definitely not room for a standard 11 inch casserole dish. So, mostly made for reheating or cooking small portion sizes, not for multi-person meal prep.
As for use, the 'heating level' knob seems to turn easily to any point along the spectrum illustrated on the side, but the knob for Time gives more resistance, and the microwave only turns on after passing the 1-minute mark. This is perfectly fine, because basically anything needing heating up, at the size this microwave can accommodate, will be done in 1 minute max. I recommend changing the temperature setting more than the timer, but of course your mileage will vary. -
Quality Cost-effective and efficient operation
Review by Walt87 / (Posted on 8/23/2022)The LED display on our old oven would frequently go blank, making it difficult to read the numbers. The oven light would stay on when the door was open, rather than when the oven was in use. The five beeping noises when the system shut down were very irritating. However, this new oven solves all of those problems. It only makes one bell sound when it shuts down, and the door can be left open without keeping the light on, allowing for drying. There are no LED numbers that can fail, and the controls are simple with just one for power and the other for setting the time, up to 30 minutes. It is straightforward and gets the job done. So far, it is working very well. -
Quality The dial is fantastic
Review by starlight / (Posted on 8/20/2022)I mainly use the microwave to heat water for tea and coffee multiple times throughout the day. I find the dial timer to be much faster than inputting specific times. I purchased this microwave five years ago and it was still working well, but it was starting to become noisy and worn out, so I decided to buy the same one again. It's a convenient compact microwave that is simple to operate. -
Quality It's all good
Review by Jamal / (Posted on 8/16/2022)The quality is acceptable for the price, I suppose. -
Quality Just what I wanted!
Review by Kindle Customer / (Posted on 7/24/2022)Very easy to use. My husband is blind and he is able to use the microwave with no problem thanks to the dial controls. -
Quality Excited about my new microwave!!!
Review by Trixie / (Posted on 7/20/2022)This microwave is absolutely fantastic! It's ideal for my small kitchen with limited counter space. I am thrilled with it! The turntable can easily accommodate a 10 dinner plate. It's truly remarkable! -

Quality User-friendly
Review by T. Jones / (Posted on 5/24/2022)My 103-year-old father found this microwave to be very user-friendly with simple controls. However, the timer knob is difficult to read and adjust, as the print is too small and it's hard to feel each setting. -
Quality Optimal for reduced eyesight

Quality Simple and user-friendly for elderly people with impaired vision.

Quality Perfect for those with poor vision
Review by william28 / (Posted on 1/13/2022)This microwave is very user-friendly, being controlled by only two knobs with noticeable notches for easy adjustment. It's ideal for individuals with poor eyesight, as the notches provide a clear indication of the timing and heat setting. I would highly recommend it, especially for those with visual impairments like myself. -
Quality Mainly pleasant
Review by Marina / (Posted on 12/16/2021)I appreciate the compact design and convenience of having only two buttons. However, the timer is difficult to turn and slippery, which may not be suitable for individuals with a weak grip. On the positive side, I am pleased with the spacious interior. The item arrived quickly, which was a bonus. -
Quality Simple for seniors
Review by Billie C Sunshine / (Posted on 12/14/2021)After my elderly Mother moved in with us, we found that she struggled to use our old microwave due to its height and complex settings. We bought this microwave and placed it on the counter, which has made a world of difference for her. The height is perfect for her and she no longer has to strain to reach or handle hot items, making it much safer. We simply set it to medium heat and she only has to turn the dial for the desired cooking time. It has been a great solution for her and we are very pleased with it. -
Quality It will not pop a full size bag of popcorn very well.
Review by Lori Brigance / (Posted on 12/14/2021)I liked the fact that it was small. It blended in well with my kitchen. But it did not pop a full size bag of popcorn well at all. It was too small for the popcorn to turn. The popcorn did not pop to full capacity. And the bag started to burn. It may pop a small bag of popcorn just fine not sure. -
Quality 5 Major Advantages and 3 Minor Drawbacks of this microwave
Review by WanderX / (Posted on 11/30/2021)This microwave has been a game-changer for me after using it for several months to replace my old button-based model. Here are the pros and cons I've experienced:
Pros:
1) Setting the temperature and time is quick and easy with just a few turns of a dial, compared to the tedious and frustrating multiple button presses required with my old microwave.
2) I love that I can adjust the power level without having to stop the microwave, especially for longer, lower cooking times when making rice, quinoa, polenta, or potatoes for mashing.
3) The pleasant single ding when the microwave is done is a much nicer and less intrusive alert compared to my old microwave's loud, persistent beeps.
4) The microwave doesn't slide on the counter, avoiding any safety concerns, and the door opens and closes easily without causing any movement of the unit.
5) I appreciate that the microwave doesn't light up when the door is open, allowing me to air it out after steaming food and preventing any humidity and odors from building up inside. Additionally, it fits perfectly with my Breville countertop toaster oven, saving space on my counter.
Cons:
1) It can be difficult to set the time for under 1 minute accurately due to the sensitivity of the time dial, and it would be helpful to have tactile feedback for the minute and power level settings, especially for those with visual impairments.
2) This microwave does not have a digital display, so it cannot be used as a clock or timer, which may be a drawback for some users.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this 2-dial microwave and prefer it over any button-based models I've previously owned. I highly recommend it as an efficient and user-friendly appliance. -
Quality Embrace the vintage!
Review by Avery / (Posted on 9/7/2021)My husband teases me for liking old lady stuff, but I appreciate the quality of older products. I particularly enjoy the dials on this microwave, as they are much more convenient than constantly pressing buttons. The size of the microwave is perfect, and the price is reasonable compared to other options. I also love that it only makes one noise when it's done, unlike newer models. Overall, I am very satisfied with this microwave. -

Quality Ideal for RV/Camping with Inverter
Review by NewUniqueOne / (Posted on 3/29/2021)This microwave is perfect for RV'ing and camping, as it has a low power consumption of 700 watts and doesn't drain the battery when not in use. However, it doesn't have a clock and the controls are manual. It works well with a modified sine wave inverter, drawing about 900 watts from the battery. It's compact and easy to transport. The only issue I had was receiving a package without a manual, which suggests it was previously opened. I recommend this unit for RVs, trucks, campers, and off-grid use, although the current price of $87 is too high. If the price is lower than $70, I would rate it 5 stars. -

Quality Tiny but powerful
Review by SpiceFan23 / (Posted on 2/1/2021)We appreciate the digital dial, the compact size, and how fast it heats things. -
Quality Great, just add a start button.
Review by tastic / (Posted on 1/8/2021)I was initially pleased to hear about how user-friendly this product is for older individuals. The dials are easy to use, but unfortunately my mother had difficulty seeing the numbers. However, this issue was easily resolved with the use of labels. The reason for my return is due to the fact that the microwave automatically starts up again when the door is opened and closed, even if there is still time remaining. This poses a safety concern for my mother, as she may inadvertently start the microwave again when closing the door after removing her food. This may not be a problem for those who can remember to turn off the timer. Despite this issue, the performance and size of the microwave were satisfactory. It is disappointing that we have to return it, as we were otherwise satisfied with it. -
Quality Simple but effective for the time being.
Review by JohnSkywalker / (Posted on 12/28/2020)The microwave is easy to use and works well for warming leftovers. I have never cooked with it, but so far it is doing the job. I will have to see how it holds up over time. -
Quality very easy to operate
Review by Quinton W. Christie Jr. / (Posted on 12/17/2020)my 96 year old mother could no longer operate a convention microwave due to poor eye sight. With this unit she just puts her plate in and turns the dial. It really made a difference in her life. -
Quality Fantastic microwave
Review by Alexei / (Posted on 12/7/2020)I use this microwave off the grid and appreciate its old-school design, which doesn't consume power when not in use. It's powerful enough for my needs, but I have one issue: the light doesn't turn on when I open the door; it only comes on when I'm actually using the microwave. -

Quality Slides about...
Review by AnnieFish / (Posted on 6/24/2020)The smaller size of this microwave gives me more room on my limited counter, which I love! I only gave it 4 stars because it tends to slide around when opening and closing the door. Other than that, I'm happy with this microwave and I'm quickly getting over the fact that it doesn't have a clock on it! -
Quality Simple to utilize
Review by LilyC123 / (Posted on 6/23/2020)This microwave is amazing, especially for those with disabilities. It's so easy to use and I highly recommend it. My mother, who is in her 90s and unable to see, has found it to be absolutely wonderful. It's truly fantastic and I can't believe how great it is. -

Quality Nearly flawless
Review by Barbarella / (Posted on 4/12/2020)I received the microwave today and unfortunately, there is a dent on the inside of the door. Review by Shundell / (Posted on 1/19/2019)I purchased this microwave for my grandmother who is blind. Her old microwave went out recently so I headed to the brick and mortars to buy her a new one so I thought. Quality Great Microwave!
Review by Winona J. / (Posted on 12/30/2018)I love this microwave, the price, the size, & the footprint. Only tne thing I do not like: I wish someone would make a microwave oven without a ringing bell. Wakes up my husband, he works nights & wakes up anyone else in the house trying to sleep. Think about it. Can you pass this idea along to the manufacturers? Just leave the ringer out of it, Please. -

Quality WORKS FOR ME
Review by Spunhunny / (Posted on 10/23/2017)This unit replaces the Haier model that I had for many years but lost in a catastrophic zucchini explosion. Living on the west coast, I waited with great anticipation as this oven slowly made its way across the country. This unit has 100W more power than my previous one but seems to heat exponentially faster. I'm still getting used to that. Also it is tricky (and essential) to get the turntable balanced in just the right place. The different power settings do not click into place plus the indicator on the dial is hard to see, which makes it difficult to tell by looking if it is on the highest setting or the lowest.
For some reason unclear to me it is difficult to find a simple, compact unit like this, so I'm glad I found this one! When I spend the night at a friend's place, I usually wake up to a cacophony of microwave beeps...beep, beep, beepbeepbeep, BEEP, etc. I lay there and think, My gawd. man, what are you doing? I believe there is less button pushing involved in launching an ICBM than is required to heat my friend's tea!
One last thing: When I first unboxed this thing it really stank. It smelled like someone had just sprayed bug spray all over their FEMA trailer, then tried to cover up the smell with glue and hairspray and cat pee. I have never had an appliance smell so noxious. Thankfully after a couple weeks, the stink is about 75% gone. Happy microwaving! -
Quality I'm so happy I have this...
Review by Cassie W. / (Posted on 1/17/2017)I hadn't planned on getting a new microwave, but I stumbled upon this one while searching for something else. What caught my eye was the price and its appearance. I had considered it before, but hadn't made the purchase. After reading reviews and looking at the features, I decided to buy it. When I received it, I noticed it was more compact than my old one and had a different door mechanism. It also had two controls instead of one, which took some getting used to. I've found that the power and timer settings work well for my needs. The microwave also sounds different and is quieter than my old one. It fits better on my counter and doesn't slide around. The interior is smaller, but still holds what I need it to. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and think it will be useful for my needs. -
Quality Retro! DING
Review by New_ClearThinker / (Posted on 1/29/2016)I am pleased with this microwave and have no complaints. I am especially appreciative because it is perfect for use in a camper or RV. It is small and fits well in the limited space of an RV. It also uses relatively less power and does not have a digital display, which is helpful in a small sleeping space. The interior light only comes on when cooking, and the turntable can be secured with a padded envelope when traveling. It does take some time to adjust to the lower power compared to a home microwave. However, I have deducted a star due to an annoying vibration when driving, so I will only use it when camping on shore power. -
Quality Effortless to use, Effortless to clean, occupies minimal counterspace.
Review by FlowerKitty / (Posted on 5/11/2015)I chose this model because we mainly use a microwave for popcorn and heating up leftovers. The smaller size allowed us to free up some counter space. The vent is on the left, with the door and dials on the right. The dials are incredibly easy to use with no learning curve. Even though we have a high tech household, simplicity is a plus. The microwave just dings like a timer when it's done, unlike our old one that would continue to ding. Cleaning is easy with just a smooth box inside and a removable plate that can be put in the dishwasher. It's also small and light enough to travel with, fitting into a large duffel bag. The downside is that it is very light, almost jerking off the counter when the door is opened. Placing a heavy bowl on top solved this issue. It has been over 2 years and it is still going strong!
