I'm a big fan of these little fans. They're quiet yet powerful, and I appreciate that they can easily switch between power cord and battery power. I use them all year round and love that even when the power goes out, I can still sleep with a fan. We've purchased 4 or 5 of them, and the only issue I've had was after 3 years of continuous use (24/7), the motor started squeaking. They're affordable, so I just replaced it, but with some oil for fan motors, that problem could probably be avoided. They're also easy to clean - just remove the screws and you can clean the whole thing without much hassle. Alternatively, I once used a can of compressed air to clean the dust off the grills when I didn't want to take it apart.

This is a wonderful small fan that is easy to move around and works efficiently. I find it perfect for using in the bathroom during the summer while applying makeup, just adjust the angle so it's not blowing directly at you. It's also convenient because it fits nicely on the sink countertop.

This fan is extremely quiet and has a surprising amount of air movement for its size. It has a sleek and attractive design with a built-in carrying handle. It can be used with an adapter, batteries, or with a USB port to charge your cell phone. The only drawback is that closing the battery compartment can be a bit challenging, but it's worth the effort. I love these two fans that come in a pack of two. They are incredibly quiet even on high speed and do an excellent job. I installed two in a bathroom where the air conditioning doesn't reach well and the steam has trouble dissipating. They are effectively pushing out the steam now. The fact that they use real old fashioned batteries means they can still be used if the power goes out. I'm planning to order a few more of these because they are definitely worth the price.

I purchased two of these fans to use with my hurricane oil lamps to help distribute the heat they generate. However, when they arrived, they did not run with good quality batteries. I found that the batteries were too loose in the compartment and not making contact. I solved the problem by inserting a 2.5 inch piece of aluminum foil between the two batteries to create better contact. Now both fans work well and are quiet while moving a fair amount of air for their size.

I recently discovered these small fans when visiting a family member who uses them. They have been incredibly helpful for her, and after seeing them in action, I decided to order some for myself. I like that they are lightweight, portable, stable, and very quiet. They are also more economical than a larger fan, but the downside is that they require batteries and can be easily left on, draining the batteries. We bought two of these fans for our daughter when she went to camp, where it was going to be hot. They arrived quickly but we didn't realize we needed a screwdriver to access the battery compartment. Once that was sorted, they worked well for her. I also used one on a kayak camping trip and it made a hot weekend much more tolerable. I purchased this fan for my office, as it tends to get hot during this time of year. It is a budget-friendly option compared to many other desk fans, but you really do get what you pay for. The fan can be powered through a plug-in or D batteries, but I have only used it with the plug-in so far. I am not sure how long it will last with batteries. It offers two airflow modes, high and low. On high mode, it provides cooling for about a foot away, but it is quite loud, so I cannot use it during meetings or phone calls. However, for personal use or during sleep, the noise level should be tolerable unless you have sensitive hearing. It does provide sufficient cooling if used on a desk or next to a bed, but if you are further away, you may not feel much air movement. I've been using this fan since December 2014 and it has been great. I originally bought it for my dorm because the AC stopped working last semester. The fan is the perfect size for my desktop and it blows air very well. It has two settings for air strength, but even on the highest setting it's not overpowering. It's quiet and I use the adapter instead of batteries. The price is reasonable and I didn't want a complicated fan, just something simple and durable.
