Room Conditions
To maximize your unit's cooling efficiency, Calculate the required BTU according to the conditions of the room in which it will be placed.
For rooms with a lot of sunlight, choose a unit with at least 10% more BTUs than what is required by the size of the room.
For kitchens, select a unit with 4,000more BTUs than what is required by the size of the room.
If the room will contain more than 2 people on a regular basis, add an additional 600 BTUs per person.

Quality Atrocious controls ahead
Review by cirious / (Posted on 3/28/2024)The unit itself functions well, but I find the remote difficult to use. I have to get up and put on my glasses to read the words on it, and it's not intuitive at all. Also, my previous unit had a temperature display that was always on, but with this one, I have to keep fiddling with the controls to show it and it doesn't stay displayed. -
